Lately I’ve had a lot of sweets. It’s that time of the year. However, as mothers are oft to remind us, one should never overindulge or an upset tummy is sure to develop. I don’t have an upset tummy, thankfully, but the thought of anything sweet sounds revolting at the moment…
Coriandre, by Jean Couturier (Jean Couturier 1973) to the rescue. It’s perfectly green, floral, earthy, so 1970’s and superbly settling. I may even be starting to fancy 1970’s green scents after all… Sometimes, they suit the moment better than any other.
This chypre has notes of violet root, rose, coriander (of course), angelica, iris, geranium, oakmoss, and vetiver, just to name a few.
Last night I finished decorating the tree (mostly) and today I’m sending off our Christmas cards. I have a feeling this month is going to go by exceedingly fast. Are you ready? 🙂
