Rose Radiant Gold

The beginning of Radiant Rose Gold (Michael Kors 2015) reminds me unequivocally of a fragrance I had as a child – Gloria Vanderbilt, V.  And, intriguingly, I looked it up on and they do share the same vague and mysterious “floral notes.” However, where V was a very 90’s, watery floral Radiant Rose Gold seems to be quite “gardenia” heavy…

I’m not sure whether or not I like that difference…

It is pretty.  And it’s also a bit loud, shrill and off-putting…  I rarely say that. At any rate, it’s still pretty and perhaps someone out there smells lovely in it!

Top note: spices. Middle note: floral notes. Base note: musk.
