Red Roses

If I didn’t have a list of notes in to refer to thanks to Fragrantica I would simply think that Jo Malone magically transports fresh red roses to your noses when you wear Red Roses (Jo Malone 2001).  The juicy apple-like violet leaf, lemon and mint work perfectly together to create the effect of “fresh” that’s hard to replicate from nature.  And, of course, the beeswax note is another masterful touch of authenticity…  It’s romantic, refined and classic.  A lovely rose scent indeed.

Top notes are lemon and mint; middle notes are violet leaf and bulgarian rose; base note is beeswax.

Nose: Patricia Bilodeau
