The thing I love about La Petite Robe Noire is that it feels like a classic Guerlain (do I detect a tiny tiny similarity to L’ Heure Bleue?) but with a cherry kissed, lively, contemporary sensibility (Guerlain 2009). It’s sweet. Super sweet actually… Yet, the licorice, tea and patchouli notes are almost funky too… This is a truly pretty scent but it’s also quite charming, bright, playful and bubbly. La Petite Robe Noire is definitely a fragrance for the young and the young at heart.
Top notes: bergamot, sour cherry, red berries and almond. Middle notes: Taif rose, licorice, tea and rose. Base notes: vanilla, anise, tonka bean, iris and patchouli.
This will be my last post for 2015. Tomorrow I’m wearing a Coty fragrance from the 1930’s or earlier that I’ve reviewed previously…
Thank you for reading my blog this year!! I appreciate it! I hope you all have a nice start to 2016 and a pleasant end of 2015! Hugs!
