Ok! So I have a plan. I love plans.
This summer/fall I’ll add Chanel Boy finally totally completing my Les Exclusifs de Chanel collection (smaller bottle to match) or I’ll add that one next spring along with Frederic Malle En Passant. This fall/winter I’ll add Baccarat Rouge in the middle sized bottle. Perfect. At some mysterious moment in the next year or two I’ll add vintage Guerlain Après L’Ondée, a sealed vintage Guerlain L’Heure Bleue (turns out that the antique store was selling an empty bottle – it was in storage) and a sealed Guerlain Liu. As soon as possible I’m buying Krigler Sylt Style 2202. Largest bottle. If I see some amazing vintage somewhere else I’ll add that too but it will have to be amazing…
Sylt Style 2202 is harsh and pungent but in the best possible way. It reminds me of quality whisky. Maybe bourbon. But like Lieber Gustav 14 it’s also refreshing, aromatic, calming, and centering with a woody, grounded but ethereal charm. I adore it. Absolutely love it.
I don’t think I’ve been this excited about a perfume in a while.
