Lighting Bugs in July

I’m sitting near a park where lighting bugs decorate pretty paths leading to an illuminated water fountain. The sky is blue, pink and orange. The trees form silhouettes against the sky. A Nocturne by Chopin plays in the background. In front of me is an old Episcopalian Church with lit stained-glass windows.

If Lacey keeps getting tossed about in the seas of love…it was decided that Michael is her safe harbour. Does that make him her ultimate other half? Not necessarily from what I understand… But…I’m not God. The thing is…she’s tired of being so incredibly independent.

Independent? Yes. And you either do or don’t understand. Louis understands. Lem doesn’t. Myrna Loy says that she does understand…

*laugh*

Myrna Loy understands? Somehow that’s comforting to Lacey. Lacey’s uncle does too…

It’s getting darker outside. Time to go eat cheese curds and enjoy the company of living family.
