“Just”…Books, Perfume and Lacey

Going forward I think I’ll do reviews again. Of books. Of perfume.

And I’ll write about Lacey. …As England burns? Or cleans up from fires? *shrug* Due to evil and stupidity.

First I’ll read, Savage Harvest: A Tale of Cannibals, Colonialism, and Michael Rockefeller’s Tragic Quest for Primitive Art. By Carl Hoffmann.

It looks…complicated. As in, it looks…like lies and truths combined. Actually it reminds me of David Pitts book about Lem Billings and John F. Kennedy. It might not be true biography but more money-making fiction written for personal reasons. Sorry. I try to write honest reviews.

And actually…I’ll reread Harold Loeb’s autobiography too: The Way It Was. Because it’s autobiography but very similar to the others… *laugh* in its own way.

Tomorrow: L’Air du Marocain. Then Casablanca Lily.
