Orange Blossom was made by All FLA (Florida) Products. I can’t find anything about All FLA Products but I do know that orange blossom is the state flower for the the State of Florida, and that FLA is an abbreviation for Florida that was more commonly used in the past. I wonder if this fragrance was sold at a tourist shop in Florida decades ago? I would love to know the history of this particular bottle…
At any rate, Orange Blossom is a very spirited, nearly sweet fragrance. It’s intense and a little herbal but vividly green and fresh like a newly cut flower right from the garden. Orange Blossom is also fairly elegant and reminiscent of Eau de Givenchy. It’s a retro floral with the same refreshing effect as No. 4711. In the drydown Orange Blossom becomes more complex and eventually quite powdery.
Last night my husband and I went out and had our first night alone together in a while. It was interesting. 🙂
Haha. Oh boy.
While I sometimes question how well suited we really are for each other we truly are best friends (as I’ve said before) and he’s one of the most fun, pleasant and game people I’ve ever met in my entire life. If you don’t want to be bored my husband is perfection. He’s quite honestly one of the most truly brilliant people I’ve ever known and one of the wildest at heart. He’s very lovable.
And gosh I love the past. I wonder if my impression would change if I were actually living in it though.
One of the places we went is very historic and has been kept up quite nicely. Just sitting the lobby listening to the jazz standards and staring at the delicious oil paintings while holding the juiciest, fruit glazed glass of Napa Cabernet is enough to leave you a little dizzy with enjoyment, especially when you have someone to giggle with. And, when you smell like a mixture of vintage Emeraude and the current Les Exclusifs de Chanel, Chanel No. 22 it’s a little dreamy too. 🙂
And, oh my goodness. I love YSL Lip Tint In Oil. I know it sounds silly to say that you love a lip product, and of course, my love is situationally appropriate for a cosmetic item but… I love it as much as you can love a lipstick or lip gloss or, more accurately, a mixture of both. Have you tried it yet?
I’m looking forward to the next few weeks. We’ve hired a nanny (someone we both trust a great deal) and I’m planning on working a bit on a few things. Also, we may be moving. I actually love where we live now, but it might be necessary to move in order to find ourselves in London at any time in the near future.
Sigh. A lot of sighs.
How are you? I’m sure that sounds silly and some smart aleck might be tempted to write something crass and stupid, but I’m serious people. How are you?
