Warm, musky, Chanel lavender. It really is reminiscent of jersey fabric. I read somewhere that it’s dated. …I’m not sure I care. It’s just that good, in my opinion. In fact I’d say Chanel Jersey is one of my absolute favorite fragrances.
Into the drydown it’s more and more ambery and opulent and vanillic. And sad? Is it sad? It is it just extremely beautiful? …No. I love perfume and yet most drydowns don’t impress me. But I think the drydown for Jersey is unusually lovely.
I shall always have a bottle of this.
Longevity is possibly better than average. Sillage is average.
