WHY DO YOU CARE!?

Eric and Lacey talk.

Eric: I’m getting the sense that most people don’t understand why you cared when people were competing with you.

Lacey: Is that real though? Are people really that confused?

Eric: Yes.

And I think, for your sake, we should talk about it.

Lacey: Okay.

Eric: Why didn’t you care?

Lacey: Why would I care?

Eric: Ha! You’re tired.

The thing is, you did?

Lacey: Wait, care in what way?

Eric: You seem angry.

Lacey: Yes! I was being harassed!!!

Eric: So you were just angry that people were competing with you because it felt like rejection?

Lacey: It is rejection. You can’t be close friends with someone ever who’s obsessed with competition.

Casi: But we were never friends.

Lacey: Wow! Her energy just burst through. *they laugh together*

No. But…I’m not the one saying “Never, ewww! Go away! I’m not your friend!” That was you, Casi.

Casi: You thought I said that to you first?

Lacey: YES!!! YOU ALL SAID THAT! Over and over again! And I ignored it, but it was too much when you all couldn’t stop.

A hater: So they were making fun of you?

Lacey: NO, YOU JEALOUS DUMBASS! They were COMPETING!

A perfume community member: True.

Casi: I wasn’t. I’m just better than her! Have you seen me!?

A perfume community member: This is embarrassing.

*later*

God: People today are overconfident about their ability to make a judgment call on their neighbor’s house. They’re way overconfident.

It’s smart to be cautious, however. That’s different. Actually, it’s not different in the sense that you should be cautious when deciding on who people truly are.

A perfume community member: So you were just feeling rejected?

Lacey: Yes.

*later*

A perfume community member: Then why were you angry?

Lacey: Because it became insulting.

It went from “I’m better than you, and obviously I barely give a shit about you.” To, “YOU SUCK SHIT! YOU UGLY BITCH! I AM GOING TO STEAL YOUR SOUL!”

Obviously, that would make one angry.

*later*

Casi: We meant well.

Lacey: Are you INSANE!?

Casi: I’m not a huge bitch.

Lacey: Hahaa! You’re a psychopath?

Casi: If you saw me in Heaven…would you talk to me?

Lacey: IN MY HEAVEN YOU WILL NOT EXIST! …IN MY HEAVEN…YOU WILL BE SOMEWHERE ELSE. FAR, FAR AWAY FROM ME. TOTALLY INCAPABLE OF EVEN BEING A MILLION MILES NEAR ME.

Casi: I PSYCHOPATHICALLY REFUSE TO TAKE ANYTHING YOU SAID SERIOUSLY, using the demonic.

Lacey: You dumbass, you don’t have a choice.

Casi: Fine.

Susan: So we really just drive Lacey CRAZY?

God: Smh.

Casi: Does she hate us?

God: No! You hate yourself!

Casi: I have no idea how much money they have. It’s true.

God: That’s a lie.

A reader: Did Lacey used to write about Bobby Kennedy Junior…and Lem…because grown men really don’t understand sex?

God: YEAH.

A Catholic: We assumed it was because she being risqué.

Casi: SO! How much weight have you lost from cyclospora?

Lacey: Well…I’m not sure yet. I have to wait a few days. I’m hopeful it’s just a bug.

We probably got it from fruit. If we have it.

Casi: What actually happened?

Lacey: *laughs* I think he was trying to save money.

Casi: Ahh-

Lacey: He was trying to save money, I suspect. And I think somehow…using certain suppliers…or something…seemed cost effective. It’s something to do with needing money.

Casi: As part of the ongoing project to save money?

Lacey: No. …From what I understand…it was a personal error, on his part. But don’t quote me. I don’t know!

A perfume collector: *rolls his eyes*

Eric: I heard he was directly responsible for bad suppliers. Or encouraging the use of cheaper suppliers. From places in Mexico, and South America.

We get products from there already, but there are cheaper options than the ones we already use.

Casi: Like labor?

Eric: Yes! Water. The land itself. All sorts of things. Some places are better than others.

Casi: When did they start using these places?

Eric: Within the last year. Possibly year and a half? He assumed there were ways to get more for the money, after he overspent. I suspect.

A perfume collector in the UK: Why did she post on Facebook today? How is that not competing?

Eric: Because…it’s just not? …Haven’t you ever wanted to share something with somebody that excited you? That’s all she was doing. Maybe she also just wants to talk about her life in some kind of way. Because people have called her a liar far too much.

A perfume collector in the UK: What did she pay for all of that? $200?

Eric: Are you INSANE!?

A perfume collector in the UK: Does she know I’m poor?

Eric: IS THAT HER FAULT!?

A perfume collector in the UK: No.

Eric: Then lighten up! MAN!

A perfume collector in the UK: I’m a bitch to people. Who I think are beneath me.

God: You know she’s not.

A witch: THANK YOU, FOR SHARING WHAT YOU KNOW!

Eric: You’re welcome!

*he laughs*

*later*

The perfume collector from the UK: How much did she spend?

Eric: Are you trying to be nice? Because you know she likes organizing everything?

The perfume collector from the UK: Yes.

Eric: *nods and rolls his eyes*

How do you keep misunderstanding her!?

The perfume collector from the UK: Is she not showing interest because she thinks I’m married?

Eric: In a way.

And she’s not exactly single herself.

There’s A LOT going on.

You’ve also totally misunderstood her on more than one occasion.

The perfume collector from the UK: Am I really some rich guy from the last century?

Eric: Possibly?

You weren’t that rich. You weren’t a billionaire.

The perfume collector from the UK: Why am I here?

Eric: You were rich.

Your family was involved in politics.

In Great Britain.

Your estate was worth…oh…£300,000,000.

Why did you come back? You know more than me. But I’m assuming it was because you wanted to understand…”the other half”.

The perfume collector from the UK: So I do understand wealth?

Eric: I would bet you do. Yeah.

The perfume collector from the UK: Why do I keep getting played?

Eric: *he laughs*

These folks ain’t the same. *he shrugs*

I’m being harsh, but it’s true.

Women who grow-up without money…are different. They can either be really good…like…A SAINT. Or…absolutely crazy. …That’s my experience. I’ve never met one genuinely chill woman from the UK who’s in the lower class. She’s either super cool…or super scary.

The perfume from the UK: I don’t know about that! *he laughs*

Eric: Okay.

The perfume collector from the UK: I’ve got a girl.

She’s…lovely.

Eric: Yeah. That’s exactly right.

Why do you hate Lacey?

The perfume collector from the UK: Yeah.

Eric: You seem like a nice person. *he shrugs*

A woman from Germany: Is Lem real?

Eric: Yes.

So is Elliott.

And no, I’m not crazy.

A woman from Germany: What do you actually see?

Eric: She and I…can see…actual people. It’s irreversible.

She’s not conjuring them. I’m not conjuring them either. Which is why I’m able to be useful, as a Christian. Ever since I was about 28…I’ve just seen actual ghosts.

Rarely full-body apparitions. But I’ve seen them. Usually just hear them, and see faces or something out of the corner of my eye. Sometimes I see more.

I too was worried I was hallucinating, like Lacey. And I too was given the all clear, like Lacey.

They’re just there.

Kasey: THEN SHE IS MARRIED.

Eric: Are you even reading this blog!? Why is your energy coming through. I have a feeling I know which Kasey this is.

Kasey: I KNOW SHE’S MARRIED!

If you both aren’t hallucinating…then HOW is it not real!? COME ON!

Eric: Yeah.

Wow.

She’s…not faking her feelings for Lem.

Kasey: She’s MARRIED.

Eric: *laughs*

Susan: Is Lem threatened by that guy?

Eric: No, and yes. It depends on what happens.

It’s…- He’s dead. He can’t do as much as he’d like. And yet…he very much exists. And he’s not happy about her being with anyone but him.

Susan: And they can interact?

Eric: Do you not understand how much we can see?

Kasey: She’s not able to talk about it?

Eric: *nods emphatically*

Ben: In all honesty, this is going to seem weird…but God has a sense of humor.

I’m contacting the writers of this blog, from the future.

Yeah.

Be amazed!

Hi KASEY! *he laughs*

Darryl: You’re really reading that!?

Eric: *nods and smiles*

Ben: Lem is a ghost.

And you’d be AMAZED how much they can see each other! It’s- *he breaks off laughing*

He’s real.

He’s SO REAL.

Kasey: Hi. I’m Kasey.

Ben: Shh.

Anyway, it’s CRAZY! They can really manifest well.

A perfume collector: I just don’t believe in an afterlife.

Eric: Many people in the groups I’m a part of…didn’t…until they saw what…is out there.

…It’s CRAZY what you can see. It’s CRAZY. And after a while…you can’t keep making excuses. There’s clearly something more.

Casi: So I’m Countess Rosslyn, and there’s a dead British…officer? Anyone else!?

Eric: She’s being serious, I think.

You’re not Countess Rosslyn, Casi. You’re a countess from Italy.

And your buddy…on Facebook…isn’t an officer. He’s far more wealthy than you were, as Countess of Castiglione.

Casi: But he didn’t have a title?

God: Stop playing dumb. You’re just mad you’re not him, now?

Casi: I’m not that bad!

God: BE CAREFUL!!!

Stop clinging to lies.

Casi: I’m not the countess. I’m LACEY!!!

God: You’re not anyone but yourself. You’re not Lacey. You’re not Tom. You’re not Jesus. You’re just Casi.

Casi: Seriously?

Ben: You’re CRAZY. But you’re just Casi.

And I’m just me.

I’m not that big of a deal either.

Wanna hook-up?

Casi: *she shakes her head, emphatically, to indicate no*

Ben: Ok. Cool.

Be nice!

Casi: Wait! Who are you?

Ben: Just some guy.

Casi: Do you know these people!!?

Ben: I know Eric.

Casi: How rich are you?

Ben: RICH.

Casi: Okay!

*she laughs*

Ben: Do you wanna talk, Casi?

Casi: No. Thanks.

Are you white or Black?

Ben: BLACK!

Casi: Okay.

I’m DUMB.

You’re WHITE.

*she laughs*

Ben: Yup.

*he laughs*

Casi: You seem like a normal person.

Ben: *he shrugs*

Casi: Are you a Roosevelt!?

Ben: *shakes his head no*

Casi: I’m Countess Rosslyn.

Ben: Yikes! I hope you’re not actually telling anyone that. Are you?

Casi: Yes.

Ben: But there is no such thing.

Casi: *stares*

A perfume collector in the UK: Let’s talk about me!

How did my family make money?

They did what?

Ben: You should be careful with this. Some Christians believe it’s in the Bible, and others don’t. Okay? So don’t get confused.

A perfume collector in the UK: *shrugs*

Ben: I’m DEAD SERIOUS!

A perfume collector in the UK: Okay.

Ben: *he laughs*

You all were in manufacturing. You made train parts??? Or…ship parts?

Lacey’s not hearing and I’m not being-

Wait.

Ship parts.

A perfume collector in the UK: It was something like that.

Ben: Yeah. You didn’t have a title, but you were extremely wealthy. By my standards, you were an extremely wealthy family.

“Pull My Trigger” by Lacey (edited by Lem)

I think the entire premise of the “Lem & Jack” mythology…rests on Lem being a horny toady…and Jack being a narcissistic but…TOTALLY INNOCENT and…TOTALLY asexual…heterosexual. As in…Lem violently sexually assaulted him…BUT without being violent. So…somehow…Lem convinces Jack to have gay sex…and Jack goes along with it because he’s HORNY and MANLY and WOW…it’s Jack Kennedy but…Jack IS NOT gay. At all. Because…Jack is JACK KENNEDY. And Jack Kennedy was the most virile, straight, handsome, sexy, amazing, brilliant, brave, courageous, AMAZING US President EVER. HE WAS SO SOOOO STRAIGHT!

Truthfully Elliott Roosevelt was straight. There were many Greatest Generation men who were straight. …But Jack Kennedy was not one of them.

My Trigger by Miike Snow plays.

And an Irish man in Ireland who saw Lacey and Mark in Dublin at their hotel…listens. Why? Because he did NOT want Mark to marry her. …He had a horrible feeling about it…and frankly…he felt FATHERLY towards her. …”No! You will not marry him!” he felt like yelling at her. Why? Well…

“Mark is a Jew.” says F. Scott Fitzgerald. “And Lacey looks like Scotia.”

A Christian rolls his eyes.

“I said she looks like Scotia. …That could be her Norwegian blood. Vikings came down to Ireland and…had sex.” says Scott. “Regardless…they were fatherly.”

The song plays.

The song is backwards.

THE SONG IS BACKWARDS.

Later.

“Why are you provoking him to nuclear war? …So what you got a good shot!? …In this case it doesn’t matter.” says Lacey.

John Mearsheimer comforts Lacey.

“Lacey! …Vietnam. Social engineering. …America…is STOOPID. …We are dumb. …You can’t colonize a country…without colonization.” he says.

She thinks.

“We are DUMB.” he says. “I mean that colloquially.”

Time by Hans Zimmer plays.

“We don’t understand Russia, neither.” says Lacey.

“Yeah!” he says.

She cries.

Thinks.

“It’s so sad!” she says about America.

Later.

“WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS!?” yells Lacey at the Illuminati. “WHY!??”

Pool of Love as performed by Les Baxter plays.

“I am the reference.

Pool of Love is a reference to Jack Kennedy’s sexual activities in the White House pool. It’s sarcasm and irony and yet…also…something more.

Lacey is speaking truth.” says I, Lem Billings.

Breathe Your Name by Sixpence None The Richer plays.

“I’m sorry Lem.” says Lacey.

He laughs.

“There’s someone better for him. Really.” says Lem.

“He’s a hero.” says Lacey.

“Yes. Indeed.” says Lem. “But you belong to me.”

She looks disappointed.

He smiles.

“It’s me though.” he reminds her.

She blinks. Blinks again. “I don’t want to lose you!”

“YOU WON’T!” he says.

“Good.” she says with a sigh. “I’m sorry. I’m not sure where my brain is.”

“It’s going to be okay! …I’ll win you over. Fair and square! OR…I’m sure I’ll be quite happy!” says Vladimir Putin.

“Yes.” says Lacey. “I’m sorry. I’m being slow.”

“That’s okay. You’re with me. And we’ll sort it out!” says Lem. “But yes…of course you’re with me.”
