All Memo fragrances are splendid. It’s not a particularly popular house compared to Parfums de Marly or Fredric Malle but it certainly is of equal quality and beauty. And it’s no more expensive than Frederic Malle.
All Memo fragrances are also enveloping, ethereal and practically supernatural smelling. They really do have a unique transcendent aesthetic. I only have three of their perfumes but I enjoy them all immensely when I wear them.
Marfa smells like a posh bookstore in a quiet rainy town frequented by the wealthy and locals. But the polite, learned and quiet wealthy. Wood floors. Vanilla. Someone is wearing perfume with tuberose or orange blossom. The books remind one of sandalwood. The white musk is misty whether and human skin.
