Lights Are On by Tom Rosenthal plays.
Let’s go chit chat with the Kennedys. Last night we left the blog at a rather odd moment. Eunice Kennedy Shriver was losing her mind. But let’s not focus on that. Let’s focus on something nice right?
Well, what’s nice for you might not be nice for me. What’s nice for me? Well…I’m dead…so to be honest…it’s God. But it’s difficult to understand my perspective from the fallen world. You can’t interact with God as easily as I can.
You know you really should be focusing on God. But it’s very difficult for you all to understand that. …Hey! I just said that. Well…maybe I’m prone to repeating myself. You’ll have to forgive me. But it’s important you understand what’s important. Because it’s difficult to make it in life and the only way to be truly loving to yourself and other people is by worshiping and adoring God. Adoring Him isn’t the same thing as making love to Him though. We can’t make love with God. It’s impossible. Tell what we can do…we can adore Him.
How do you adore God? You de,know how you see money? And fame and success? That’s the way you start to look at God. You fight for Him because He’s the real American Dream. And then you start to think, ‘Hey! How do I relate to God? He’s not a lover. But we feel close.’ As a father.
God revealed Himself to us as a father. Jesus was our example. And in a way Jesus is like our brother. And because God Himself chose to relate to us that way…I respect that way of relating to Him.
You wanna be God’s lover? Why!? You know maybe it’s because you want GOD. And what I mean by that is that GOD knows us. God knows us and loves us better than any Earthly father ever could. So our feeble human minds could easily think, ‘Hey! Maybe God is like a lover!’ But no. He’s not our lover. He’s our GOD.
God can love us better than any human lover. But He’s not a lover. He’s never going to be our lover. That’s impossible, remember!?
So…we…you and I…are supposed to exist. You and I are separate entities from God. We aren’t gods. We aren’t God. We’re human. We’re His children…through Christ, His Son.
