“A Sex Scene V” by Lacey

House of Cards by Radiohead plays.

They don’t hear it. But they feel this song and the allusion it makes via Kevin Spacey to Lem Billings sucking Jack’s cock in the imaginations of millions and millions of human beings who Lacey’s stuck alive with. It rips violently into her soul and spirit shitting while laughing into Jesus’s face.

Because these people don’t care about the truth any more than the dumbasses who molested her did. They’re fucking stupid…and DUMB. Is that the correct, American way to put it? As in, does that get the point across? Regardless, it’s sad. Sort of. Because in a way, Kevin Spacey seems like he can be a delightful person at times. And it’s sad…he’s all there is. Because Lacey can’t believe entirely that if he’d had better company he’d have been as confused about Lem & Jack…as he has been…if she’s hearing from God about Lem correctly. Even as a possible abuser…he seems to have enough respect for reality, at least on an aesthetic level, to worry he could be wrong when presented with the right evidence. But I guess nobody thought to tell him? No. I guess nobody…could figure it out? Dammit. That’s creepy.
