I bought this perfume because of the rather unusual combination of gardenia and honey. On my skin it smells sweet, but not cloying and incredibly voluptuous and sexy.
When I first smelled it I believed it was cheerful. …However after buying the full bottle and wearing it I’ve realized that while it is flattering and definitely something I can wear well it isn’t actually cheerful. Perhaps it’s the carnation note combined with the rosewood? But it’s somewhat somber actually.
I wear it in the summer. It’s not one to wear necessarily at other times. It could be worn at Christmas actually, it’s almost reminiscent of Nuit de Noel by Caron but it’s most vivid, sultry and native in the warmer months.
It’s not a huge projector but it’s definitely noticeable. Longevity is mediocre.
