Good grief. How do you write about Bois Des Îles!?

*eye-roll*

…I don’t love Bois Des Îles actually. I like it. …Which makes it even harder to write well about this…super important Chanel by the great Ernest Beaux.

It’s woodsy and warm and opulent and somewhat sweet. It’s…gorgeous on the right person. …I think…independent, free-spirited artistic women can wear it well. If they’re dormant elegant too. …But I can’t wear it well. Maybe I’m too dark. I have brown eyes and…something dark about my beauty. Floris violets is better on me…than Bois Des Îles.

But…my goodness. It’s Chanel. It’s the 1920’s. It’s Ernest Beaux. *sigh* What can I say?

Longevity and sillage are decent.
