This is a popular Aqua Allegoria for a reason. It’s very cheerful, versatile and charming.

When I first bought this I threw out the box, which is highly unusual for me. I always keep the box. But my idea was to use it. It’s that pleasing and versatile and it reminded me of staying in the historic Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, Ireland in 2011. They had an orange blossom and neroli product they must ah r used everywhere and the hotel smelled like Neroilia Bianca. So I had planned to use it often partially for that reason.

Golly. What can one say? It’s an extremely pretty neroli. The petitgrain likely is mixed in some Guerlain genius measure and it’s…sublime. Really, the Aqua Allegoria line is Guerlain at its best. And sillage and longevity are decent with this as well. Not impressive, but decent.

Year: 2011

I purchased this bottle in the Duty Free shop in Zurich, Switzerland. In 2011. So my mind quickly returns to that summer and all those memories when I smell it.

Litchi. The rose is…astoundingly pretty. Soft, jammy, lactonic even possibly. It’s a treat. And the iris is in an unusually good mood. Joyful, bright. But the litchi is the watery, citrusy, gorgeous note that sings the brightest, loudest and most dominantly, in my opinion.

It’s sad. This fragrance never was all that popular…but it’s such a good fragrance.
