New Hobbies!

I love sterling silver. I love silver in general.

Back in Norway my Great Great Great Grandfather on my mother’s side was a silversmith. Their family had been celebrated silversmiths for generations. A book was written about his work, actually.

This year I’m going to buy a full bottle of En Passant and hopefully Après L’Ondee but other than that I’ll be buying only usable bottles. That’s it. And I truly think I’m going to taper off with perfume collecting unless it’s truly a meaningful piece to collect. No more adding full bottles of new perfume…

No, I’m going to start collecting more silver. Ha! Yes, I know… But it’s so much wiser. And given my maternal heritage I find it to be a nice way to honor the good in my mother’s family. The genuine goodness.
