Egg In Our Face

Lem is mad. Last night he slept with Lacey. But not like they should be able to. If there’s an Illuminati they repress Lem and Lacey because they’re narcissistically upset…and then they try to kill Lacey when she’s too threatening. …If they could actually blow-up Lacey and her entire immediate family as the IRA has requested…they’d be done with her, in a way. However, the IRA is smart. It recognizes that these people subconsciously know about the afterlife and don’t want a dead poltergeist haunting everyone or literally destroying the entire Earth.

Empty Camps by Cemeteries plays.

Harold Loeb, F. Scott Fitzgerald and a dead IRA leader sit in a parked car in a Saint Paul library parking lot. Let’s listen.

The song plays.

It’s a 1980’s dark grey sedan.

Snow covering all sparsely.

The Victorian and Art Deco architecture of the old river city, the last stop before the Wild West, looks on.

And inside the dark gray Oldsmobile, three men sit and chat.

“Lacey should be in Breckinridge with her cousins this year for Christmas.” says F. Scott Fitzgerald.

“Yes. That was the plan.” says Ernest Hemingway.

“Keith is upset.” says the IRA.

“And she’s tired of bourgeois assholes.” says Ernest Hemingway.

“You know we’ve lost? We sick shit!” says the IRA sarcastically.

“Why are they insisting on going to Hell?” asks Harold Loeb. “That’s the thing I don’t understand.”

“They don’t want to accept that Lacey and Lem exist.” says Ernest Hemingway.

Tim Russert of Meet The Press joins them.

“Let’s move on to the next post. This post was supposed to be about the IRA reckoning with the Kennedys. But it’s become obnoxious. Even through Ernest Hemingway is saving it.” says Tim Russert. “Yes. They may have killed me the same way they killed Ron and are half trying to kill Lacey.”

“So Lacey wanted to see us. And my father knew that. And he planned to organize a family reunion in Breckinridge?” asks Curt.

“Yes. Because you’ve all met there before.” says Hemingway. “But it’ll be used for the good. It’s just depressing how…null and void her life has been.”

“Let’s move on. Jim is insane and evil.” says Tom. “It’s not safe.”
