“You could have done lots of things. But you did one of the worst things.” says Michael to Chris.
“She wasn’t necessarily a sacrifice. Entirely. It might have also been a mistake. And I’m embarrassed.” says Chris.
“Why did you and do you keep escalating things?” asks Michael.
“It’s not working?” says Chris.
“What?” asks Michael.
“Diego isn’t talking to me. My wife is upset. …I’m getting old and so is my show. And Joni is possibly wealthier than I am. And she’s been on Alt For Norge and poses for NASA as a model for space suits.” says Chris.
“Yeah. That was a popular show in Norway.” says Michael.
“So? I’m supposed to be worth more!!” says Chris.
“She probably invested her money.” says Michael. “Do you?”
“In what!?” asks Chris.
“In something lucrative.” says Lem.
“I spend mine.” says Chris. “And donate it.”
“That’s your choice!” says Michael.
“Chris…you live in Brooklyn. I bet Bethany lives in a cheap house in North Dakota.” says the interviewing woman. “Or no! Joni.”
“She might!” says Michael.
“Michael are you in love with Lacey?” asks the woman.
And at that JFK sees the real Lem and can’t stand him. He’s so…sad in Jack’s estimation.
“Yes!” says Michael.
“But she’s with Lem?” asks the woman.
“Yes!” says Michael.
“Well! Time for bed!” says Lem. “Goodnight.”
“You’re gross. Too tall! Too- I hate your glasses.” says JFK to Lem.
“Are you comparing me to a Jew who resembles me?” asks Lem.
“Whatever!” says JFK.
“Are you?” asks Lem.
“So what?” says JFK.
“People will never believe this. It’s impossible to them.” says Lem.
“They don’t know. And he’s…better looking.” says JFK.
“Yeah. I’ve seen him. He’s more ideal.” says Lem.
“Sure. Take care then.” says JFK.
“Leave me alone.” says Lem.
“We’ll see!” says JFK.
“No. We won’t.” says Lem.
“Maybe you looked different before.” says JFK.
“No. I looked worse.” says Lem.
“You don’t know.” says JFK.
“No. I’m the same!” says Lem.
“I was hallucinating?” says JFK.
“I am handsome.” says Lem.
“Yeah. But…” says JFK.
“You didn’t feel safe being friends with Jews.” says Lem.
And at that Jack is carried off.
“Lacey and I are going to bed. Alone together. Goodnight.” says Lem.
