I had gay mannerisms, but sounding gay isn’t just about using a high-pitched voice and lifting your pinky in the air, and you know walking in a certain way, and all the other stereotypical mannerisms that existed in my my day too. Those mannerisms have been around for a while…and I didn’t, you know, invent them. My generation didn’t invent them.

And that is the problem. I was copying other people. But if you listen to my actual voice, the actual sound of my voice itself, which is not something everyone is capable of doing apparently, I don’t sound gay. I sound effeminate and I sound like I’m using a gay voice, but it doesn’t sound authentically gay. When straight men try to sound gay or when they talk in a high-pitched voice they sound like me. I think Lacey has tried to explain to you how my voice and my mannerisms came across and what they were. And I don’t think some of you in the Illuminati wanna hear it if you exist, because it’s very simple some people-some men sound gay…and yet they probably don’t want to hear that because they don’t want to sound gay. They don’t want to sound truly gay in a way they can’t control. You know, they don’t want that social stigma on them in a way that they can’t control.

I think sometimes gay men exaggerate their homosexual behavior for the purposes of trying to control what people think about them. And it sounds counterintuitive but by over exaggerating what already just naturally exists they-they hide their actual true self…and then you don’t see the real gay man. No, you see a man who’s very much acting gay instead of the man in public who just is gay. But Kevin Spacey seemed gay to Lacey or something like that um, Woody Allen does not, and there’s really not much difference between those two men in some ways in their mannerisms…except there is a difference and it’s very subtle and Woody Allen is straight and seemingly or certainly more straight and Kevin Spacey. And that’s the thing, Lacey picked up on that. She can hear it in men’s voices. She can hear it. She can see it in their pictures even. I can’t and umm…I can see it but not as well she can. I guess lots of people just don’t notice those things but she does. She notices and she reads men extraordinarily well. And they-they can’t hide it. They really can’t hide it.

There are chat rooms-I guess you call them online communities where there are gay men who like to sit around and brag about breaking people’s hearts. I mean essentially that’s what they’re doing. Bragging about breaking women’s hearts. And you can’t lie about it to me. …There are and were gay men who do take pleasure in hurting women at times. No, they really do. I’ve seen it firsthand. Jack wasn’t the only gay man who I knew who was like that! A decent number of gay men take great pride-pleasure and pride in being very hurtful to women. Very toxic, evil gay men. I’m not saying every gay man is like that…I’m not saying that even the majority of them are like that, but there’s a decent number of them who are and they are very detrimental to the progress of human rights. I’m not saying homosexuality is allowed in Heaven…but, you know, what I am saying is-I am saying that people who are homosexual who are minding their own business and not hurting children, who are trying to just live with the reality of what they’re experiencing, those people should not be drug behind a truck for no other reason than the fact that they may be insane, you know?

No, not all people who are insane are really harmful to society…and if you are a loving, you know, not pedophilic, loving, kind, gay man you’re not-you’re not a huge harm to society…even if you happen to get into a relationship with another man. Another man who is as well-meaning as you. …Of course you have to let people say that you might be insane in America…if American exists…or did…because Lacey has a right to say that in America. Or the remaining part of it. She really does if it’s-if American means and meant absolutely anything she has a right to say that. And she hopes that it’s-she hopes they’re not insane. You know, you can’t brainwash her into not having a brain and not thinking about things in a very intelligent and moral way. And it would be immoral given what she’s heard from Bible scholars, who are very reputable, for her to assume that it’s allowed in Heaven. No, that would be deeply immoral to her. …But it’s also immoral to drag someone behind a truck…who is not a threat…in a manner you would a dangerous, extraordinarily evil, adult criminal. Lem closes his eyes. Focuses on breathing. “You’re afraid of doing what I did. And yet…you have no idea how out of character that is for you.”

“I’m afraid of losing my mind.” says Lacey.

“By sinking into a hellhole of a marriage?” says Lem.

“Yes. And then losing my mind.” says Lacey.

“That’s very unlike you. I did that. But that’s not you.” says Lem.

“But now I’m worried you’re doing that with me. …And now I’m worried I should be with Louis. Because this conversation isn’t going well.” says Lacey.

“No! You’re with me. I could never make that mistake with you. …It’s us.” says Lem.

“Who are you?! Harold?” asks Lacey, in a panic, struggling to breath.

“You don’t really know.” says Lacey, half seriously.
