“Disrespectful” by Reta Banks

Lacey woke-up this morning and heard a woman’s voice. It might have been mine. …The biggest problem with America? Above all else? How disrespectful we are.

That’s what I told her. Almost literally.

God won’t separate her and Lem. Just the the two of them. For eternity. They are one. Just the two of them. …But you need to understand, part of the problem she has right now being nice…is that a lot of you all have her in constant communication with entities who hate her. Jack, being a closeted bisexual, and Lem being straight and very tragically confused…created a major long-term problem for all of us. Because Lem became his long-term victim. …Given our understanding of sexuality back then Lem was all but lost…to living Hell…the moment he accidentally mislabeled himself and then admirably but tragically tried to be “be himself” by adapting to his self-presumed identity. And meeting Jack was the final nail in his coffin. …He might have struggled for the rest of his life and found a way out eventually, psychologically, and managed some happiness…possibly later in life…but he damned the moment he met Jack Kennedy. Which is certainly not the story you’ve been told.

Jack, should he have existed after death at all, hates Lacey. He pretends otherwise because of how much he hates her. Why? Because he’s a fool. And he refuses to understand that Lem and the priest who abused him are to blame for how stupid and embarrassed he feels about his one-sided feelings for Lem and the way Lem unintentionally led him on. Because Lem did. He gave Jack the idea that he was his ideal worshipper-follower gay. And the media has furthered that notion. When in reality he was merely patronizing and trauma-fawning Jack’s malignant narcissism as a confused heterosexual who was only acting gay, not as an actual homosexual who truly loved Jack. Jack felt an enormous sense of power in life from his perceived constant admiration from Lem and Lem’s willingness to be sexual with Jack at all. Lem was…a nice guy. And Jack felt like a very improbable, very rare, very cool guy…for somehow tricking Lem into loving him. He felt so cool! He felt…above everyone and everything because he felt and deeply, fervently believed Lem was sincere…not faking it. Even though Lem would recoil in disgust at times. Even though he was never truly jealous. Even though he did a plethora of actions that should have been taken as evidence for Jack that Lem was…harboring hatred for him… Jack only saw what he wanted to see.

…Lem wasn’t jealous. He might have been and still have been straight. Think about it. But…he wasn’t. It’s been said that he gave someone a look. You know? A look of jealousy? …But that’s not what happened. …All you have to do is look at Lem’s photos at Jack’s wedding and you can see that he wasn’t likely jealous of Jack’s other sexual conquests at all. …Dumbasses don’t want to be honest about it. And it’s not going to end well for them. Because it doesn’t make any sense. …He’s HAPPY…in EVERY photo. …Genuinely happy. Don’t bother lying about it. …At least happy for Jack. He doesn’t look jealous or hurt the way Camilla did with Prince Charles. At all. And that’s impossible if he was in love with Jack…and possibly impossible if he was anything but straight. And that’s fact. Be careful arguing with me. …This bullshit has gotten way too damn old.

Jack Kennedy and his family were master malignant manipulators. And Lem was eccentric. It’s really not astonishing to think Lem might have been straight…and Jack might have been bisexual and used him. …You all who stubbornly believe Lem was obviously gay possibly need to intellectually grow-up. …A straight man can convincingly act gay to gullible people who want to believe he’s gay for any number of reasons, so don’t be so gullible. Yes, you truly can fake being a homosexual. …Lem, as himself, seems straight. …That’s him. Lem himself was genuinely happy at Jack’s wedding to someone else where Jack was visibly in love with that someone else and treating them as his priority. Those are his real, factual feelings for Jack captured on film. …Those photos aren’t hearsay or human opinion. Those photos are fact in this case, as photos can sometimes be. Let’s not start degrading photography too damn much for everyone’s own good. No. Those photos are proof Lem was probably straight. I’m sorry if you can’t understand that.

Anyway…I know he was straight. But I’m Reta Banks. And I’m dead. You don’t have that much of a view. So I suppose I should be nicer. Or should I?

See…that’s the problem. …Jack Kennedy has made…egalitarianism, for Lacey, equivalent to losing Lem…and feeling as though she could possibly lose her own soul for eternity. Even if there’s no reincarnation. If Lem loves Lacey…lying and manipulating facts to make himself seem straight and sexy and incredibly loved…was a way to destroy Lem’s female. Whoever she might be. …And since she’s Lacey…I get to do something about it. And I’m happy to because it makes me angry.

I was married to Tom Banks for decades. He had many affairs. And at least one long-term mistress. …He was capable of monogamy. Everyone is. …But some people are cruel…and some people are brutally honest…and can see intimacy falling apart or never materializing or what have you and then they have other partners. Tom was brutally honest. Jack was cruel. …At any rate…Jack wanted profound loyalty and intimacy in Lem’s mind…while he lived in reality and realized something was missing between them. That’s INSANE. And incredibly stupid.

Now…by intimacy I don’t mean just feeling intimacy. I mean something greater than that. …Scott Fitzgerald felt a lack of intimacy with Zelda often…but something greater than his feelings remained…and…no one…has possibly ever broken that. Not Sheilah Graham and not Lacey Banks. Some love is profound. …The love People Magazine says Lem and Jack had isn’t profound, or real at all, but a tragic misunderstanding and cruel, vicious, disgustingly dishonest hoax. Because Lem never asked to be seen as Jack’s lover. And Lem’s family was always wary. Why doesn’t People Magazine respect that? Or The Advocate? I’ll tell you why. They’re evil…and/or they’re fools. They bought the Kennedy lie on the matter. Ran with it. And…I think they think they know better than Lem himself ever did or his family what’s good for him and his legacy. He never discussed his sexuality out of a feeling of repulsion on the topic…because he was straight…and it was very upsetting to him…but that’s never likely to be told. Except for here. Which is sad. …And if you mess with those photos that prove, in reality, that he was straight…you’ll regret it. I guarantee it from the grave.

Lem was straight.

That whole family thought that of us both. …They truly didn’t understand that Lacey- That boy, Joe Kennedy, seems to have thought that Lacey didn’t understand that men cheat on their partners sometimes. …Or did they just get lulled into a false sense of security by Jackie Bouvier? …Because…Lacey Banks doesn’t stay faithful to a lying, cheating fraud. And that’s what most of those men are in that family. …But I think they thought she’d stay faithful…and be heartbroken by the thought that Joe could be with another person sexually. Ha! That’s a joke. …She got over Hoe Jr. in a day!

There are, thank God, lots of other men who aren’t incapable of intimacy and monogamy. And I don’t think those men can handle that. Okay? And that is also sad. …If Lacey wasn’t with Lem she’d be with another man. And he’d be very handsome. And very nice. Like Harold Loeb. Yes…Harold. Or Louis. Or Michael. There are a dozen young men I know who she’d be happy with, if God ordained it. And for the last ten years…they’ve possibly been DECIMATED by that reality. …Because if she’s not totally destroyed by Jack taking Lem, even if it’s just a myth…because all she needed to do was believe it, they’re TOAST. …There’s nothing that powerful they can do to people who narcissistically offend them in the afterlife. They’re mere mortals. And serving Satan was dumb. And they’re lucky not to be in Hell. And that’s been hard for them to possibly accept.

…The thing is…Lacey doesn’t almost ever compete for a man. It makes her skin crawl. …And…there was no way…she was ever…going to FIGHT FOR LEM. OH NO! No… He’d not want her to anyway. There love is above that. …He was confused. …Again, the love he had with Jack you read about in People was IMAGINARY. This isn’t, believe it or not. …So…while Lacey is alive and hurt…and capable of falling madly in love with Louis Hill Junior…who lives nearby, so to speak, or Michael Rockefeller who…yes…she might have married…and falling in love as she did with Elliott Roosevelt…or even her living legal husband in the past…Lem is in torment. Lem is in torment. Not Lacey. Lacey moved on, or tried to. Lem cannot and would not and will not. And it’s possibly God’s mercy and grace he’s able to talk with her. The Kennedys don’t understand that, possibly. And…that’s possibly a huge problem for a lot of people now, one way or another. They mean to torment Lacey…to both tempt and torment Lem. Because they’re still struggling to comprehend he was faking it, possibly. They can’t imagine someone being accidentally more devious or accidentally more deceptive than them. Or even possibly as complicated as them.

Lacey, who’d I’d like to call my daughter, was not going to be okay. But God is greater than that. And…even as I say that…Lem was going to be fare worse. Jack’s narcissistic jealousy of Lacey…masks his deep inadequacy compared to Lem and his inability to even begin to let himself comprehend that, much less get over it. He never even allowed himself to become insecure around Lem. He was nuts, or he was braindead and chose evil, depending how you look at it or what you know. …They were all very…inferior to Lem. I’m sorry it’s true. They weren’t raised as well. They aren’t as intelligent. They arguably aren’t even good-looking. …But given Lem’s confusion and Jack’s narcissism they have and had the sad delusion that they’re superior to him by a landslide…and that he was madly, instantly and insanely devoted and in love with all of them. Breaking that delusion might be difficult. They might parasitically and self-destructively live off that kind of bullshit.

So…Lem is suffering. Lacey is not okay. …But you can’t separate them. Only God can. Because He made them for each other. And they both love and worship God. And so…the egalitarian world…has a huge problem.

Let’s be real. Kamala isn’t likely to win. JD Vance is mad at poverty. And his wife is Hindu. …He’s Catholic. …And Donald Trump is a very wealthy man from a wealthy family. …They are going to be cold as ice…on certain issues.

JD called you a cat lady, if he did, because he’s cold. Not necessarily because he’s a sociopath. Or even necessarily a narcissist. He’s…not your buddy. He might even care…in some deep way. But he’s not going to make you feel good. …That was his opinion. I think he does have some convictions. And I think he felt that when he said it.

Why is he cold? If he’s not a narcissist? Because…he’s calculating. And in his estimation you’re a silly butch bitch possibly, if he was talking about you. If that’s not what you are…he might not know that. For real. It’s not necessarily that he’s being mean and dishonest. He might really think, objectively, that you’re a real loser. A sloppy, mean, heartless nothing even. And if you’re not…then that’s great. That’s not what you are. And that’s on you to figure that out with God’s mercy and love if it’s hard for you. I’m sorry if you don’t know yourself, sweetie. …The thing is…we’re past nice. People like Jack Kennedy and his bullshit People Magazine stories ruined nice. Now we’re all going to have to be honest. And civil. And decent. And as respectful as we can be. I mean it, you have to try within your actual conscience to be respectful. If you’re a child…I’m not talking to you. I’m talking to humans over the age of 20 or so nowadays. At 20 nowadays you should be close to an adult in most cases.

I’m not saying we can’t be nice too. When it’s reasonable and safe. But…we can’t all assume the best and risk our own necks. …I like Tik Tok. It’s a good source of information if you know where to look. It’s a scummy place too. But you can find truth there that you can’t find in People. …But we have to be honest. All of us.

JD Vance is just a politician and a liar? Sure, possibly. But…be careful. …If there’s an Illuminati he’s talked with Lacey. And Lem. …This spring they all talked about drug use in Appalachia. Because Lem used once in a trailer in a small town in rural West Virginia in the 1970’s. He was looking for a hook-up and he found drugs in a trailer in a small town. …And JD was…empathetic…and…real…and they all connected as people. Because JD and Lem both feel pain over the white drug epidemic. Lem knows them from experience. And he’s above that experience even while he still has memories that he learns from in a Godly way. And JD Vance…knows those people literally. They’re from his hometown. …He…likely fell in love with Usha. And I think…he just couldn’t stand to not marry her. Despite her religion. I bet he hopes she goes to Heaven, as a Catholic. He likely thinks she fervently believes in her faith, instead of rejecting Christ. And I get to him there’s a difference between rejecting Christ and accidentally not understanding Christ. …I hope he prays for her. Everyday. …The thing is…she’s Hindu. And I’m sure she influences him. Right? …His Post-Liberalism…combined with her Hindu faith…probably means that he’ll call you a cat lady if he thinks you deserve it.

…What’s best for America? …Lacey said it looked bad this fall yesterday on Instagram and I agree.

Kamala is possibly evil. But…I worry for cat ladies who are loving and decent. The cat ladies got in bed with Jack Kennedy in the 1960’s, decided Lem was their best gay pal…and whether they regret that or not…should. …JD Vance…is their son, metaphorically speaking. Lacey does too. …I hope JD Vance is kind. And wise. …But I worry he’s not.

My daughter, if I can call her that, didn’t go to Yale. But she’s very intelligent. And she’s not badly educated. …If you’re alive…and you’re not just a reader of this blog…be careful. She’s very smart…and that’s a fact regardless of what you think. And yes, we were very wealthy. And Old Money. And…yes. The family that raised her is Old Money too. Not as clearly as we are and were. But they are. …If she’s Tom’s biological daughter…he placed her with her family who raised her for a reason. Let’s address the real heart issues. Tell God why you hate Lacey, if you do. And tell yourself why too, if you do. Because she can feel it. So can I. Why? …She’s not Jack and never was or will be. Lem wasn’t gay. …And if you’re an adult right now, I hope God shows you mercy when it comes to her pain when you die if you are at all responsible.
