The Nesheims and the Seays.
The Nesheims are a combination of 18th Century upper class silversmiths. Truly. Top of the line for Scandinavia at that time. And professors, tutors and farmers. Semi-peasant farmers maybe? Maybe not. But otherwise all upper class or upper middle class.
The Seays are 12th Century…soldiers in Great Britain. And American Revolutionary War heroes. Who lost their wealth in the Civil War. And became poor. …But worked their way out.
The Crafts are…lower class to middle. All very intelligent. And in America all prosperous and wealthy and prestigious with time. Millionaires. Etc. Knighted author included.
And that’s it.
My parents who raised me were rebellious and really messed-up. So…they have retirement from their family. But they never saved for it. …They hated debt. But they didn’t like saving. Not really.
Tom’s family is more clearly old money. And I relate to them more. His parents owned a general store. The first one in Lexington Nebraska. …My aunt owned a prestigious clothing store in Long Beach, Cali. Etc..” says Lacey.

when she thinks of Tom as her dad, she just imagines him, holding her and giving her bottles and yelling and yet being very genuinely loving at the same time not you know in any bad way just incredibly kind in his heart, even though he was very grumpy. And then to her that’s really at the end of the day so to speak just daddy and boy he must’ve been up to some wild stuff, but that’s really just Dad and he would never have devourer of that perception of him because as wild as he was, he was smart and sophisticated and well bread and very loving in his own way And I couldn’t have been married to him if he wasn’t. And so I I don’t think he would’ve ever changed your opinion of him in that way because it was who he is it was who he was and that is who he is so she knows he was. You know a bootlegger and wild, but really she also knows who he actually is and that’s a very intelligent Somewhat stuffy, rich kid who turned into a hooligan kind of like Humphrey Bogart, and certainly there are some very sophisticated people who were in the mafia, but that’s not who he was. Really it isn’t. He was raised in a protestant white old money, family, and that’s very different even if you’re wealthy and you’re Italian and sophisticated that’s not the same thing culturally as what he was. He really is more like Humphrey Bogart. They were friends and that really is more his personality Than anyone wants to accept apparently and that’s who she thinks of when she thinks of her father someone who is sort of like you know who else your minds are of is William Frawley, the actor from I Love Lucy so yes, he’s a hooligan. Yes, he was involved with Al Capone, but he was also Like Fred from I Love Lucy. He was very serious a businessman, and he could be very tough kind of like Fred, but then you know that secretly, probably especially with his daughter he would’ve been very tender hearted when it came down to if. At least he’s a very sweet, tender hearted tidy lovely little girl in my eyes and he would have he would have been very protective of her in a very healthy way. He tried to be if he had a biological father. He tried as much as he knew how to be protective in a real way, finding a home for her where no one would ever figure it out , hiding her essentially it seamlessly brilliantly I mean, he had alcohol and millions of dollars and he was very clever. They’re actually was a birth certificate with her real name on it or would’ve had her real name on it with her real time of birth and he either kept it and gave it to Thelma and I don’t know what Selma did with it although I’ll find out and actually I might know but it’s complicated it might’ve been burned. Literally Thelma might’ve just burned it And the fireplace at some point where it’s possible that her mother still has it but no there was people were paid off that the nurse if if she’s biologically Tom’s daughter there were several people at the hospital. We’re all paid off and kept quiet. He paid about $100,000 in 1983 to keep everyone quiet It was about 100,000 that he paid just to keep everyone quiet but they were willing to because Becca and Jim’s daughter if she’s biological really did die if she’s biologically Tom’s daughter Jim and Becca‘s daughter really did die and so back in 1983 they were willing, especially people who are older and had practiced medicine for decades Going back to the 60s and 70s they were willing to look the other way because stuff like that used to happen and so they thought you know this is not something that people talk about but it happens and he’s paying us you know $100,000 to keep our mouth shut and that would obviously be a lot more today but that’s how much he paid, then if she’s Tom’s daughter they pay it was about 100,000 and in 1983. It was approximately $30,000 to about three different people who all kept their mouth shut and were willing to act like she was just unusual for a newborn and people really are not as a student as you might think that they are and so being a tiny Two month old little girl they were able to play her office in newborn and it was convincing her mother made it work because she didn’t know and she she well she actually wasn’t quite two months necessarily, but she was we say two months she was about to say two months And she was tiny so it was convincing and no I mean it was. It was a very clever, very clever maneuver on Tom’s part and everybody everybody believed him that’s not quite right, but a lot of people believed him enough. I’m sorry I’m overwhelmed right now, but but yeah, be careful assuming that this didn’t happen because it might have.
And if it did and I’m saying that it very well might have she she is my daughter and away I’m Rita I’m Tom‘s wife that she’s saying that she’s talking on behalf of right now yeah but he had $100,000 to throw around in 1983 to cover his tracks and he was not happy about spending that money He’d plan to give it to Thelma but you know it was used for other purposes and he was very angry at Margie because I think he thought that somehow she was on birth control or something, and he held her somewhat responsible for not knowing that you know she couldn’t just assume. They were a couple essentially to some degree and no she should’ve known, but she didn’t and Lacey was born and she was brought into a horrible situation. And I’m not going to correct that because if that’s what actually happened and that’s what actually happened and I refuse to correct it if it’s true.
But no, her father was like Humphrey Bogart essentially and you have to understand part of Lacey‘s mannerisms are her being totally confused about what she should sound like because she doesn’t really talk that differently than Betty Davis ever did. And she doesn’t talk that differently frankly than Lem ever did. And I really humorous thing is that lamb is really her twin flame as well. Call it and Betty Davis is very sweet to her and she doesn’t think anything of it.
These people feel so comfortable around her because of who she is because they they kind of knew us and they knew Tom and they might’ve even liked him and so they automatically know how to relate to her because she’s his daughter and so it’s like oh yeah, you have your dad‘s personality to some decree And so it’s an easy connection but she doesn’t understand that. she really doesn’t and so to her. It’s just oh yes Betty Davis is a very nice woman and Humphrey bogart is incredibly paternal and serious.
Queen Elizabeth being as brilliant as she was when she was alive if there’s no illuminati caught on all of this intuitively and her and Lacey really were friends. they could actually talk and confide in each other to some decree and sadly if there’s no illuminati, I think that Queen Elizabeth is the only real friend that she’s ever had. I mean, can you imagine you’re only real friend? Is someone who you only speak to in this very weird way and and yet they’re really a friend yet they’re the queen of England and yet they’re your friend. And you think aren’t they wonderful in its sincere. But that’s her life that’s how lopsided and bizarre. The whole thing really is
Because I would never really break I used to love to break, but I would never really break about the fact that she’s been able to be close that she is close with Elizabeth because it’s just not something that I would ever break about. It’s not like that. Listen I might have bragged about Louis Hill Junior if she’d ever dated him seriously or even if when he was single, he got involved with her briefly. I might have told people because that would’ve felt appropriate.
I might’ve said to my friends I might’ve said oh yes, Lacey has been seen with him lately. She’s spending a lot of time with him and I might’ve bragged about that.
But I would’ve never bragged about Joe because that would’ve been deadly serious. I would’ve never bragged about Michael because that would’ve been extremely serious and way too although the last serious than Joe but it would’ve been serious. Harold would’ve scared me and left me speechless and I would have been very worried about her, but I wouldn’t have known what to say.
If she brought them home, I would’ve just assumed he was my son-in-law almost instantly. I would’ve just known that he was probably my son-in-law and that that really is actually true. I would’ve just instantly thought no I think this is the one.
Elliott that would’ve left us speechless. We would’ve been very proud extremely proud of her, but it would’ve left us. Totally speechless.
Her husband now we care about him a lot, but I don’t know that we like him anymore than his family likes her. But we actually really do care about him quite a bit.
