Kasey’s Wedding III

Lacey and Laura imagine what Kasey’s second wedding could be like.

Laura: What does the ring look like?

Laura: Such perfect choices…

They’re very her.

The music?

The music:

“Spring” by Vivaldi?

Laura: Well…that’s not really her though.

Lacey: True.

I don’t know what her musical tastes are anymore.

Laura: It looks like she went to a concert, with Melissa Etheridge.

Lacey: Really!?

Laura: Yeah.

Lacey: Then how much will any of these suggestions apply to her now? This might not be inspirational at all.

Laura: *thinks*

Oh well.

Moloch: Why is this such a plain wedding??

Laura: We didn’t think it was that plain.

Moloch: Then show them the wedding you and Dr. Moritz would have had.

Lacey: Would they want to see that?

Moloch: Yes! He was quite serious about you.

Lacey:

*thinks*

It’s just a simple wedding in Germany. With very good German food.

Laura: No fanfare.

Lacey: Germany is a beautiful country.

German food!

Moloch: Yes. German chocolate!!

Lacey: Yes!

Moloch: Veal.

Lacey: Yes.

Moloch: But what do you wear!?

Lacey: A white strapless silk gown. Slingback heels.

Moloch: Show photos!

Lacey: That, but tailored.

Laura: And the ring?

Lacey: I have no idea!

Moloch: He’d have chosen this:

Lacey: We really didn’t make sense together.

That’s a GORGEOUS ring though.

Lem: She’s right. It’s NOT her. But it’s an expensive, beautiful ring.

Lacey: I’m sure someone would ADORE that ring.

Moloch: What about this ring:

Lacey: Better! Those proportions are better.

Moloch: They are!!

Lacey: Cheaper too!

Moloch: Indeed.

He’d never have dreamed of buying the smaller one. You two weren’t a good match.

Lacey: Dear of him to buy the more expensive one!

Moloch: Yes!

Lacey: I hope he’s doing well.

Laura: Why not the Louboutins?

Lacey: Too high!

Laura: Yes!!

Moloch: What shoes are in your closet right now!

Moloch: Are any of them expensive?

Lacey: No!

Not really.

Moloch: At most what?

Lacey: $500.00.

Moloch: That’s not that expensive for shoes nowadays. You’re right.

What are they all?

Lacey: 1. Marc Fisher, 2. Calvin Klein, 3. Sam Edelman, 4. Tory Burch, 5. Gap, 6. Guess, 7. Red Wing Shoes, 8. Vintage leather 1960’s Hawthorne Classics, 9. Vintage 1970’s Italian made leather shoes by dolce, and 10. Steve Madden.

A gay man: Would you wear number 10 if your husband was taller?

Lacey: I’m only 5 feet 6 3/4. But yes. And they’re too sexy, for now.

Lem: No, I was heterosexual. I’m sorry you can’t ever seem to understand.

Lacey: Anyway.

Moloch: I don’t like your shoes.

They’re practical but not good.

Lacey: I completely agree!

But oh well.

Moloch: Some are fun!

Lacey: I agree.

Moloch: You poor thing.
