Eric: Lacey loves the concept of remodeling an old house.
Lacey, what actual experience do you have remodeling?
Lacey: My grandmother lived in a house built by my great grandfather in 1929. I have many vivid memories of being there every summer experiencing the house, as an old house. It wasn’t a hundred years old yet, but it was old. And…I used to explore the house. Get a sense of the bones.
My father who raised me had a friend, Dennis, who bought an old house in Minneapolis. And they…didn’t restore it, but…they bought it right after it had been restored. And obviously they discussed what had been done to the house.
…I also did some work with historic preservation.
I don’t have tons of hands on experience…but I have a lot of information.
Eric: What would you like to do to this house:
Casi (energetically coming through): PLEASE TRY TO HELP ME UNDERSTAND.
Did she actually wear Bath & Body Works Cucumber Melon?
I’m not an Aries but, I’m trying.
God: No, you are an Aries. Not a Virgo.
Casi: Can I still ask the question?
God: Yes.
Eric: HECK YES.
Casi: *Nods*
Why…Chanel No. 22!?
Eric: Because there is no Cucumber Melon for Millennial adults. What would it be!? I’m sure she searched for it, but it’s…what? What is it?
Lacey: Calyx reminded me of slightly. But…it’s not the same. And as much as I was into vintages…I wanted something relevant. Chanel No. 22 still is being made, and it joined Les Exclusifs.
Casi: Do you think you’re a Les Exclusif?
Tom Banks: Dumb.
She actually is…
Lacey: I didn’t think about it in that way.
Casi: So it was just…-
It was just…-
What you said? NO WAY!!
What!?
Eric: Actually…Hermes…makes some decent choices.
Lacey: They’re not quite right. But…-
I’m actually wearing Eau de rhubarbe ecarlate right now.
Eric: That’s so you. Chanel No. 22 is for a special occasion, or…you being silly.
Lacey: Yes.
Eric: Back to old houses.
Lacey: What do I want to do to what house?
Eric:

Lacey: That’s a house like the one Lem Billings owned?
Eric: Yes!
So…
*Gets very distracted.*
Lacey: Okay.
What would I do to that room?
Eric: YES!
Lacey: Yikes.
Get rid of the chandelier. It needs a brass chandelier with lamp shades.
The art work seems fine.
Keep the telescope.
Eric: I’m going to interrupt you for a second.
That’s interior design. As you know.
What would you do to the house itself?
Lacey: Those windows are awful. But it is New York City.
I also don’t like the fireplace.
Eric: Is there anything wrong with the house?
Lacey: What’s the state of the wall material behind the walls? And…are those windows actually in good shape?
Eric: What are you worried about?
Lacey: *Thinks*
I don’t know enough about these houses. But I wonder what’s back there…
Eric: *Laughs*
What are you imagining?
Lacey: Well, obviously, decades old mouse poop.
But also…why do I keep seeing old cigarette butts?
Wires that…do nothing?
Weird looking dust…
Wood that’s…rotting????
Eric: YEAH.
There could be.
Lacey: Why would the wood be rotting? Or did a rat eat it? Or…a bug?
Eric: It could be termites?
Hmm.
I’m thinking rotting wood?
Lacey: Yes. Just here and there.
But why?
Eric: Leaky pipes…
Lacey: WHEN!?
Eric: In the 1980’s. 1990’s?
Lacey: YES!
Did they talk about leaky pipes in an episode of The Bill Cosby Show?
Eric: YES!
Lacey: Huh.
So there was an epidemic of leaky pipes in 1980’s New York City?
Eric: Yes.
A bisexual man comes through: Let’s talk about Dennis’s house!
Eric: It was a $600,000.00 house. In South Minneapolis. It was a little cheaper back then.
It was…nice?
Probably about 2,400 square feet?
A bisexual man comes through: Wood floors?
Eric: YES.
Original wood floors.
Beautiful old windows.
A bisexual man: *Nods*
Great stairs?
Eric: *Laughs*
The stairwell was one of the better features of the house.
Lacey: Was there a large beautiful stained glass window by the stairwell?
Eric: YES.
I think?
Lacey: I liked that house.
Eric: Describe it.
Lacey: There was one bedroom downstairs. They used that as an office.
There was a kitchen. A dining room. A living room.
Upstairs was…obviously a bathroom. And…three bedrooms?
Eric: Was it spacious?
Lacey: Kinda?
It probably was only 2,400 square feet.
Or 2,100?
I did like it though.
A realtor: Sadly…it could even be more. Like…$700,000?
Lacey: Wow!
That would have been a good investment for them. They moved.
Eric: Where do they live now?
Lacey: They retired. I think in Florida.
Eric: *Laughs*
Devin energy coming through: Why Florida?
Lacey: Yeah! Everyone moves to Florida.
Would you ever want to retire there?
Devin energy coming through: *Thinks*
No.
Lacey: Me either.
Lacey’s neighbor energy coming through: I don’t want to move to Florida…
Lacey: When you retire?
Lacey’s neighbor energy coming through: Yeah! That’s what we’re talking about!
Devin someone: That’s not what we’re doing…
I started the conversation.
Who even are you?
Lacey: So you don’t to move to Florida?
Lacey’s neighbor: No.
Lacey: Why not?
Devin: I think it’s too hot.
Lacey: ME TOO.
Yikes.
And too…-
It’s not pleasant!
The water?
*She makes a gagging face*
Devin: Yeah!
Lacey’s neighbor: *Looks upset*
Eric: Which neighbor is this?
Lacey: I can’t tell…
Eric: Umm-
*He laughs*
Lacey: Do you like Florida??
*Tries to track down the energy of her neighbor.*
Jim: TRACKING DOWN ENERGY?
Eric: It’s not what you think.
Can you find it Lacey?
Lacey: Yeah??? Almost…
Hey! *She says to the energy with her energy.* Why don’t you want to live in Florida?
Lacey’s neighbor: It’s…ugly.
Lacey: Huh.
Which part?
Lacey’s neighbor: Umm…-
Myrtle Beach.
Lacey: That’s not in Florida…
Lacey’s neighbor: Boca Raton!
Lacey: You think Boca Raton is ugly?
Lacey’s neighbor: *Thinking*
No…I guess it’s just hot.
Lacey: Yeah!
…Next to the ocean isn’t so bad.
But…the further north you go? Yuck…
I’m sorry. But…yuck.
Someone from Jacksonville: I hate it up here.
My family has lived here for years. And it used to be a really great place to live-
Jim: What-
Lacey: I guess he wants to talk to them? Umm…no?
So…what’s changed?
Someone from Jacksonville: A lot.
Lacey: Like what?
Someone from Jacksonville: Crime.
They’ve ruined the city.
I’m not gonna lie…it’s…HELL.
Lacey: I drove through downtown Jacksonville in 2010. It looked lovely.
Someone from Jacksonville: It’s changed.
Lacey: How so?
Someone from Jacksonville: What looked good?
Lacey: Restaurants? Shopping?
Someone from Jacksonville: *Looks concerned*
Are you the ghost of Athalia Ponsell? Am I talking to the ghost of Athalia Ponsell?
Lacey: No!
Are those restaurants still there?
Someone from Jacksonville: No.
Lacey: When did they disappear?
Someone from Jacksonville: In…2018?
Lacey: *Looks sad*
Someone from Jacksonville: I feel…like…I have to kill you?
Lacey: Huh.
What did I do?
Someone from Jacksonville: You blocked us.
Lacey: When?
Someone from Jacksonville: You KNOW! In the 1960’s!
Lacey: Huh.
I’m a woman.
Someone from Jacksonville: *Thinks*
Are you a sociopath for that? I’m getting a man and a woman’s energy!
Eric: Yup.
Two people.
Someone from Jacksonville: No.
Eric: No. There really are two people who are talking to you!
Someone from Jacksonville: *Looks disoriented*
*Looks very disoriented.*
Eric: You’re a psychic?
Someone from Jacksonville: Yeah.
Eric: We blocked you?
What are-
Someone from Jacksonville: Yeah-
Eric: What you reading?
Someone from Jacksonville: You’re being attacked!
Eric: Yes!
Are you okay?
Someone from Jacksonville: Yes!
Jim: What exactly is this?
Eric: It’s what the elite call telepathy, in my social circles. It’s…kinda telepathy? It’s more like…hearing people. Like what they did before the Tower of Babel.
It’s…not effective communication. But you can sometimes hear something?
Jim: Do you hear…thoughts?
Eric: Yes?
We hear…a lot.
Like right now I’m hearing a ghost talk about the Mississippi River near Red Wing.
It’s…-
It’s not witchcraft…
Jim: Is it safe?
Eric: No.
But Lacey was attacked. And I’m helping her.
At least, that’s my opinion.
Jim: She didn’t learn this in school?
Eric: NO!
No.
This is…rarified stuff.
