Eric: In your story in the blog today you were mad at your daughter or no?
Lacey: No.
Eric: You were not fighting at all?
Lacey: Not at all.
Eric: Did you slam the door on your daughter and foot or not?
Lacey: She…seemed entirely in the car. I did look. But we were in a hurry and she was doing something she doesn’t usually do with her shoes or something.
I didn’t slam the door. It was instinctual not to.
Then…she told me she had her foot in the door. And I was shocked. But…thankful I hadn’t slammed it. And then I waited. She put all her hands and feet inside the car and then I did sort of slam the door.
It was around that time that I’m pretty sure I heard my neighbor say, “That’s sadistic!” It shocked me.
I’m TERRIFIED by how…overly confident they all are in their weird assumptions about me.
Eric: I don’t think they cognitively understood the concept of your blog. *He laughs* I think they thought it was…real real. I think they didn’t understand that it was…fiction. Like in a sense it was true, but it was parody. Like SNL.
*He laughs with Lacey*
I think they misunderstood your entire personality.
Lacey: That would make sense, mostly. But I’m FAR too freaked out to accept that concept as the explanation.
Eric: Okay.
We could talk about your actual perceptions of them sometime, but maybe not right now.
Some would say that’s the…Libra in you. You’re actually a Virgo-Libra. That needs to be clarified. Because dabbling in astrology is evil, but it is real. So if evil people get too confused, that’s bad.
You also are a Cancer. A Taurus. And…I think you’re an Aquarius…or is it…Leo? No. It’s gotta be Aquarius? Or Capricorn? Mmm…
Anyway, you’re not who people think.
Lacey, do you like your neighbors?
Lacey: I have almost no opinion.
I don’t form opinions like that quickly.
Eric: That’s very Aquarius Virgo.
Lacey: I have insights.
But that’s about all.
