“A Challenge” by Lem

The Revenant by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Alva Noto & Bryce Dessner plays.

“I’m waiting for my tea.

I grew-up drinking tea.” says Mathew Nesheim.

“Ahh! …Okay.“ says the Frenchman with sudden hesitation.

“Alright. My tea arrives.” says Matt. “Have at it!”

“SHIT!” says the Frenchman. He suddenly winces. “Matt…how in Hell…are you and your cousin so…elite…and yet what is it? Backwards?”

“Well…you’re not prepared for this conversation. …At least that’s what it seems like.” says Matt.

“Matthew…

Oh.

Matthew.

Of course.

*He tries very hard not to laugh*

Is this Satan? Or JFK? Because it’s…really on the nose.” he says.

The music is…very dramatic.

Elliott Roosevelt laughs.

“Exactly Elliott.” says the Frenchman.

“For their safety and the safety of their children I’m not at liberty to discuss that.” says Matthew from a pre-written statement.

The Quality of Mercy by Max Richter plays.

“No. It’s not Lacey.” says Matthew smiling.

The song plays.

“Matthew…how?” says the Frenchman. “I’m sorry.”

“Ahh!

Are you ready? It’s genuinely quite complex.” says Matthew.

“I am. Tell me if necessary!” says Marsie.

He waits. Sips his tea. Legs crossed like a gentleman. Very Tsar Putin aesthetic. In his interview with Tucker Carlson.

“Fine!!” says the arrogant French man.

“See…you aren’t open.

Fine!

I’ll just talk to Marsie if necessary.

Ahh…so…

That’s my ancestor. For certain.

And…that’s our 1700’s ‘rich people’ farm:

But…as actually grand as our silversmith family is and was…

Silversmiths with guilds were the very old upper middle class. And…as our family was (although not listed on Wikipedia) genuinely historic and noteworthy in Norway…and Sweden…and to some degree in Denmark…beginning in the 1700’s…and we acquired what today would be equivalent of $30 million as our personal net worth…which isn’t middle class even if it’s not ‘a billionaire’…we were…Norwegian…and…rural.

Don’t be so stupid. We’re very prestigious.

*Here, They Used To Build Ships by Johann Jóhannsson plays.*

…We are rural. …Like…the Swiss. THE SWISS. …Does that ring any bells!!? Think!!!” says Matthew impatiently.

“So the painting? On the walls?” says the French man.

“That’s elite.” explains Simen Jóhannsson.

“Do you comprehende?” Jim Craft asks the French man.

“That was a high brow insult. …We’re rural.” says Lacey. “And you sir…lack depth.”

“So you’re not…rural like an Englishman?” says Hitler to Jim.

“No. I’m sorry. I’m not.” says Jim Craft.

“I knew that!!” yells Hitler.

“Oh this is getting ugly.” says Lacey.

Arrival of the Birds by The Cinematic Orchestra & London Metropolitan Orchestra plays.

“I warned you.” says Matthew.

“Okay. So…you’re not sophisticated?” he says.

“No! Actually we are! …We just…gosh.” says Matthew. He sighs. He collects his thoughts. “We…are…isolated. Maybe isolated? Remote?”

“Were you royalty ever?” asks a psychic.

“Yes. But who wasn’t, right?” says Gunhild.

“So you’re…not unworldly…and yet…somehow paradoxically you’re kinda…left out?” says a woman.

“Like the Swiss.” says Matthew. “Some of it’s by choice.”

“Right! Fjords.” says a reader.

“So…you all really are that…sincere!?” says a reader.

“That’s us. But so is this:

says Matt.

Waterways by Einaudi plays.

“We’re excruciatingly humble.” says Matt.

The song plays.

“Lacey’s parents are…not like all of us. And no. They were…careful. They stopped openly abusing her she was about 4. Because she was getting too smart. And they didn’t want to get caught. And what do I mean by openly? Ahh…covert versus overt. So overt until age 4. Covert after.

And…no…we didn’t necessarily know at all.

Regardless…we are…excruciatingly humble.” says Matthew.

“That’s our genes. …Those are our genes. That’s us!!” says Matthew Nesheim. “Descendants of Norwegian silversmiths who own billions of Dollars of oil in the US. In OUR land.”

The song plays.

“That’s the family Lacey was raised in.” says Matthew.

Xibalda by Clint Mansell & Kronos Quartet plays.

“That’s not us.

That’s TOM BANKS.

But…see…her father loved her. Tom loved her. He’s just dead.

That is us.

Old Dooney & Burke bag. Etsy dress. Vintage silk scarf. Blonder hair. Standing and smiling in an art museum. Happy to be there. Our silver is art. Our sterling silver…with our family’s mark on it…from the 1700’s and on…is ART. Just like the pieces behind her.

But this…

That…terrifying smile…in an old leather Audi…is her soul.

We can account for her manners and her lack of…understanding. I died partially because of it. …But…we can’t account for her reaction. …That’s not us. That’s just not the nature of our souls.

That being said…I did kill myself. So be…careful.” says Matthew. “She’s not scared. And I’m a very seasoned warrior.”

“Matthew what’s your alma mater. In…English. So to speak. Not…the King’s Norwegian.” says Tucker Carlson.

“Coach.” he jokes.

“So like where??” he says.

“UCLA.” says Matthew.

Lacey is surprised.

“I’m actually a forward thinker. Believe it or not.” says Matthew.

“No. That’s possible.” says Tucker Carlson.

“So…?” says Matthew.

“Yeah. She’s probably just been explaining herself.” says Tucker Carlson.

“We would never have written that blog post. Casi…NEVER. That’s just not us.” says Matthew. “It’s a fascinating and…disturbing response to us. But not because we necessarily understand more. …Because we…tend to…ignore things. And sometimes it’s functional and sometimes it’s a disaster, as in my life.”

“So…has anyone asked her why?” asks the French man.

“NO!

They talk to themselves. Far more than they know. And…they don’t think to talk to her. For whatever reason. Or…it would be too painful for them.” says Matthew.

“Elliott…do you understand why?” asks the French man.

“Gee. Thanks for asking.” he says, in exasperation.

In This Shirt by The Irrepressibles plays.

“That’s my response.

Because I’m…gobsmacked.” says Elliott Roosevelt.

“I’ll tell you why.

This is my song. …Right? Or non? I’m too…weird?” says Rupert Brooke.

The song plays.

“You’re all so confused!!!!” screams JFK at all living gay men on a manic level of evil.

And as a gay artist concedes defeat in Jerusalem…Lacey sips Merlot…out of proper glass.

“Lem…what would you have felt about this song?” asks a living gay man.

“It would have freaked me out. …Weirded me out.” says Lem.

The song plays.

“I literally can’t stand to listen to it.” says Lem. “I would have had to excuse myself and leave.”

“Lem…did you talk about Gore Vidal’s novel?” asks a living gay man. “With Gore Vidal?”

“I hated his…writing.” says Lem. “Or I thought I did.”

“But what you really hated was his topic.” says a Christian living gay man.

“His topic made me angry.” says Lem.

“Lem…why?” says a living Christian gay man.

“Ask Lacey.” he says.

“So you want to feel better?” says Lacey. “Okay?

He’s a smug…dense…prissy-aristocratic…strong…island.” says Lacey. “An island of a man.”

“I still don’t get it.” says the gay man.

“You know I don’t entirely understand. …But…it’s sorta like…he’s too upset…to bother. Or something like that. Because he just doesn’t understand.” says Lacey.

“Lem!!! It’s gay romance.” says a living gay man.

Lem laughs and nods. “I…said it was…gross.”

Why?” says the CIA.

“I found it ‘too complicated.’” says Lem. “And then he defended his position by insisting that gay sex wasn’t just about…sloppy, quick fornication.

*Lux Aeterna plays.*

And he waited for me to come back with something about our hot sex. Like…how ‘animalistic’ it was or something. …But instead I just sat there and stared at him. Irritated. So he assumed I was an idiot.” says Lem.

“That’s not what I wanted to hear!” wails Bobby Kennedy Junior. Snot dripping. “That is not…what I WANTED.”

“Why?” asks David Pitts. “I mean…whether that’s the story Gore Vidal told me or not…that’s what he told me…in effect. So…I honestly cannot guarantee that that’s not literally what happened.”

“You know he look straight.” says South Africa.

The song starts over.

“So…you found it gross?” asks a living gay man.

“Yes.

Look…I tried to read Williwaw. But…I found it gross. I genuinely did. And…when we had that infamy conversation in the White House…I was sick of most gay men. Because I was straight. And I…just…found them all…obnoxious.

Can you please try to understand me more? It’s not quite that complicated. Just THINK!” says Lem.

“So you found him annoying too?” says the living gay man.

“I found him…confusing. You know? What…gives? Right? Because…he was so…certain. So…indifferent. And…I’m…actually not the easiest person to get into a deep conversation with myself.” says Lem.

Lem waits for a response.

Eros by Nicholas Britell plays.

“Oh well.” says Lem when no one knows what to say or doesn’t care.

Lacey sighs.

“Wow! That was quite the diversion!” says Matthew Nesheim.

The song plays.

“That’s not bad Merlot.” says Lacey. “It’s from Napa. Of course.”

“Lem have you slept with Lacey rencently?” asks Janet Desrosiers.

“Yes.” says Lem politely.

“How recently?” she says.

“Today.” says Lem.

“Then why are they so stuck on it? It’s still so weird to me.” she says.

“Yeah! Huh.” says Lem. “Quit hitting on me. I’ll never sleep with you and I wouldn’t want to.

Darling…go to Hell if you have to. Alright?”

“I’m not in Hell. Janet.” says Joe Senior.

“But I’m obviously just obsessed with what she wants. Because I genuinely assumed I was prettier than her until I was told I wasn’t and had to look at her clearly.” says Janet.

“Thanks for saying that.” says Lacey.

She cries.

“I loved him! And they are alike!” she says crying.

“Who’s alike?” asks God.

“Joe Kennedy Senior and Lacey. They’re not meant to be together forever but they’re alike.” says Janet.

Memory by Nick Cave & Warren Ellis plays.

“I LOVED him. I really…loved him.” she says of JP Kennedy.

We see them kissing in front of a beautiful ocean scene on Cape Cod.

The Most Beautiful Boy by The Irrepressibles & Felsmann & Tiley plays.

“He was…beautiful.” says Janet.

The song plays.

The beauty of the scene plays before us.

Janet

“This is such a good song.” says Lacey.

And in the future we see Lacey standing in front of two dead children who were being used for human trafficking in the Illuminati. They shot each other.

What’s she wearing? A Brooks Brother’s hooded sweater over with the hood up. Sweatpants. As Millenials do. Her big brown eyes turn around and regard us.

They look alive. Until you blink. Did you just see ghosts. Oh! That was weird!

Wait! Where did Lacey go?

We look over to the side…

She looked so solid. So real. So real.

Huh.

She’s gone.

“Was she a ghost?” asks Lacey, herself.

Je te laisserai des mots by Patrick Watson plays.

“No. Can’t be. I must be hallucinating.” says a man.

“Huh. Well they’re dead! Good news.” says Lacey.

He stands and looks sad.

“Do you need to die?” she says as a ghost.

He thinks.

He picks up one of their shotguns. Regards it.

The song plays.

“No! I can’t. Life’s too damn good!” he says, laughing at God.

“Too bad I can’t drill a hole in your brain.” says Lacey to him as a ghost.

He blinks.

“Yeah. You’re worthless to yourself.” she says.

He’s a cruel child molester.

“You shouldn’t have been born.” says Lacey.

Later.

“This is why she’s mad. This woman married into the family.

Now…she’s covertly competitive. And her family is from the lower middle class. Not at all Old Money. …Is she being passive aggressive and abusive to her husband? Trying to insinuate he’s somehow poor? Or make it look that way to their friends? Because she’s too vain, ugly and sick inside to let him be better than her? …OR…is she simply being caring? Is it very much just what it looks like? She’s purely trying to celebrate the hard work and honor of poor, good hearted people?

Can you tell!?

And see…it’s very…very…difficult to know. …It takes time. And getting a better sense of context.

Lacey…tried to really take her time getting to know the people in the perfume community. She talked more to them than to this woman by a long-shot. And that’s sad.

So…when they’d post very confusing things…that were potentially cruel she…let it go…hoping to eventually see things more clearly. Until…Nancy

Nancy

visited F. Scott Fitzgerald’s grave in Maryland. IN MARYLAND. …That’s more significant than you think. …Openly drinking…cheap gin…and took photos of herself plastered physically all over his gravestone. And captioned it with the idea that he was HER LOVER in a PREVIOUS LIFE. So SHE HAD FIRST DIBS. …Presumably over EVERYONE.

…No. This woman was not Scott Fitzgerald’s lover in a past life.

Nancy had been obsessively copying Lacey as well. Lots of Lacey’s so-called followers had been.

And then she also posted a photo of her fake ultra rich friends. And she’d been insisting her possibly fake Hermes bags were real very aggressively as well.

And so…Lacey lost her temper and blocked her. Lacey just blocked her. And Lacey’s husband blocked her as well. And yet…she still found a way to contact Lacey and insist she was NOT copying her. And was not…at all…in any way…beneath Lacey.

The blog post about social class was related to this woman in large part. But it wasn’t just her. It was Casi. It was…literally dozens of other people in the perfume community. And…yet there were enough people who seemed normal enough that Lacey assumed she’d have some support. …Except…she did not. Not at all. And she’s been trying to sort it out every since.

What really pisses me off though is that you guys are so hateful and incapable of any sort of genuine concern for humanity at all if this blog is to be believed, she was being statistically attacked by the illuminati, so why wouldn’t you assume that that had something to do with why she lost her temper and wrote one fucking post on her blog about social class and people being competitive in the Perfume community the illuminati was using the Perfume community to bludgeon her for their own trashy delete reasons, but I get baffled by why are you guys can’t just try to be more understanding why are you so why are you all so persistently fucking self-righteous to such an insane degree when it comes to her, are you scared because most people live today or secretly all sadness, including Jonah Wiley?” says F. Scott Fitzgerald. “ what is it we could have we could pick up and keep her up all night and you could write up a blog post interviewing her and trying to get to the bottom of what she was thinking and feeling we’re not going to do that because it’s sick. She has been incredibly kind and spoiled you all when she could’ve literally just declared war on the world and we’d all be dead she’s been very patient. And as they say that Bobby is literally trying to suffocate her to death using the daemonic because he’s such a fucking repressed homosexual that he refuses to admit that he really is dense when it comes to what happen with him a lot he is obsessed with it but he can’t explain why, and he expects people to just magically understand him.

So we’re gonna we’re going to spend a little bit of time and then she’s going to go to bed with Lem’s and they’re going to have sex as they often do because he was straight and she’s an adult and she’s very beautiful and if you weren’t so patronizing and stupid. Maybe you would have to come back and act like the super adults of the universe.”

“ so how about we do that? No Nancy you were not F Scott Fitzgerald‘s lover that was a lie JFK told you to piss Lacey off because he’s buried in Maryland lambs family is from Maryland and actually there’s other very offensive things that were coded into your blog post as well that are all from the other side, because there’s a lot of really huge poltergeist bitches that hate her JFK sister kick and there are many others because they were stupid ugly and hateful and evil and they somehow in their dim existence think that attacking her will make them feel better and it doesn’t it makes them feel scared because it doesn’t actually work. It kind of makes him feel better, because it kind of reminds them of what they experience while they were alive and and capable of being redeemed.

But it doesn’t really work because they’re dead, and part of their body gets sort of cut off. So you can be evil while you’re alive and I kind of feel OK can I shove it under the rug even though it might bother you a little bit taking it if you can kind of shove it under the rug but when you’re dead, you can’t do that because it actually starts to harm you it harms your energy Which is why there’s not many Pulcher guys and there really aren’t that many there should be a heck of a lot more considering how many evil people there been in the in the world. And that’s one of the reasons of jack cease to exist because he’s sort of made himself almost not exist by being so evil but I am he just kept going and it has not been helpful for him so that’s that’s a little quick rundown now I want to find out what it is that you guys can’t handle then, so what is this problem or can you just ask her a question or do I need to ask your questions that you should be asking for you and then we can move on and maybe you can go you know, lick your bones Like buzzards from hell and then we can just sort of let this go and she can start editing this blog and you guys can just I don’t know I guess just keep doing whatever it is that you do.” says Lem’s sister.

“ you know they have sex?” says a reader.

“ yeah I do because it’s been discussed on this blog and I am an adult I mean it’s not some thing I ever think about from ever on but I mean I am cognitively aware of that and I had to say it because I don’t think you people are OK?” she says.

“ I am OK so I think Marcy pretty much explains Lacey. What is that were mad about.” says the perfume community.

“ OK that’s not a question, gotcha.” says Lacey.

“ hey so you just you had no idea it that you had no idea and you thought somehow given our class trajectory or our actual wealth or some thing that we would just be like oh well those of us that aren’t totally toxic would just be like well she’s probably right there’s probably way too much toxic competition in the Perfume community and I’m probably just not gonna say much but I’m not gonna be like antagonistic towards her. Is that what you were expecting that and are that maybe that will be the majority of people who are following you but like they would be a few people who might be like nice about it and send you a DM and be like dude what’s wrong like it seems like you’re getting a lot of like negative feedback or some thing I don’t know and I’m sorry that people are being so bitchy and then that’s probably what she thought that everyone person would just be like nice about it and then everyone else would just kind of be like quiet and be like that you’re right it’s a little weird that’s what you were expecting isn’t it?” says a perfume collector.

“ yes, I’ve said that on this blog good for you.” says Lacey.

“ Hey OK so no that’s that’s not what’s going to happen when you’re dealing with people like us because we’re not who is who you thought we were do you fully understand what we’re doing I kind of doubt you do but do you fully understand it like you probably don’t know that’s a stupid question. I’m gonna bet you have a far better understanding as of today because it’s like I had no idea that people did that really but um so I’m just gonna go with that. I think that probably is true that it’s like yeah oh crap these people were like oh doing some psychological thing that I was not thinking they were doing yeah so it’s like what we’re doing is just like showing off yes but Part of it is like a fantasy not like a fantasy like that’s stupid but it’s more like an actual like real fantasy it’s like oh I’m rich because this perfume is just so good that I just I wear it and I just feel so freaking rich do you have any idea what that feels like?” she says.

“ none whatsoever actually that’s not true I might have a slight idea, but I doubt it’s quite the same.” says Lacey.

“ OK when did you experience that?” she says.

“ are used to wear Shalimar with a green and got anger and Gora sweater when I was in high school and pearls faux pearls but pearls and so it created a very beautiful aesthetic and it was fun to wear and I Ayah well I loved it because it was really really beautiful, and I knew that Shalamar was an exquisite fragrance and the sweater wasn’t bad and they were not real pearl earrings but they weren’t bad imitations and so I thought you know I feel kind of classy. I mean it wasn’t you know well it wasn’t necessarily exactly like what you experience but I definitely felt a heck of a lot more monetarily stable than we were at the time and my family so I mean that to me that was the aesthetic of probably no old money multi multi millionaire. It was a really if the whole combination really worked.” says Lacey.

“ you’re really disappointing I met you and I realize that you were old money and I’m just like holy shit I didn’t think anyone who is actually that beautiful and intelligent and old buddy could exist and I saw you and I’m like holy shit that’s the only fucking thing I care about it I don’t care about children or the environment or myself or anybody else!” says this woman suddenly wailing in tears. “ I mean I understand Nancy I don’t give a fuck about what you say that there’s love and life and everything supposed to mean something. I just want men to our father love with me and suck my and suck me off and do it over to me because that is the meaning, may be glorious and beautiful I don’t care about anyone else. Why don’t you understand!??” she says. “I WANT MONEY!!!”

Material Girl by Madonna plays.

Millions of living women shake their asses in unison. Souls in hibernation. Eyes glazed over. Stupid drooling grins on their faces.

Is she a material girl?

Her?

Her?

Her?

I bet she is too…secretly.

They all have the same glazed over…distant…cold as ice…constantly happy…dumb-as-rocks expression on their faces. And…it seems like…the Madonna classic Material Girl befits them perfectly.

“You need cold hard cash?” a woman asks Nancy.

“Yes.” she says after nervously stalling.

“Why doesn’t she understand that!??” asks the faux caring perfume collector.

“That you want ‘cold hard cash?’” asks Billy.

“Yeah.” she says.

In shock Lem is left speechless.

“Madonna is a genius, regardless.” says Lacey.

“I can’t figure out what to say to that woman.” says Lem.

“I want to kill them.” says Scotia. “But that’s completely unreasonable? And…possibly worthless and evil.”

“That’s a death threat!” says Nancy trying to escalate things.

“How?” says Lacey.

“Because you didn’t want to say that. I know what you really wanted to say.” says Nancy.

“Which was what!?” says Lacey.

“You know!” she says, throwing her nose up in the air in self-perceived sexual superiority.

“Don’t you?” says Lacey.

“No!!! That’s not allowed.” says Nancy.

“What!?” says Lacey.

“What you’re doing!” says Nancy.

“Which is what!?” says Lacey.

“What you’re doing?” says Nancy.

“Which is what!?” says Lacey.

“This!” says Nancy suddenly smiling and laughing at Lacey.

“What’s this?” says Lacey.

Nancy pauses.

The song plays.

“Well!?” says Lacey.

“Satan help me!” says Nancy.

“Oh! You’re a Satanist!” says Lacey. “That explains a lot.”

“I love that…aesthetic. …I’m not sure if I would call myself a Satanist.” says Nancy.

“Why?” says Satan, hurt.

“He’s too poor?” says Lacey to Nancy.

Holiday by Madonna plays.

“Geez!!” says Lacey to Nancy. “You know…Satan is poor. Too bad girl.

He seems into you.”

“I’m too hot.” says her spirit.

“Huh. See…I wouldn’t have expected that to be a problem for Satan.” says Kick Kennedy.

“What if you took a holiday with Satan?” says Lacey to Nancy. “He could woo you in Nazi Germany?”

“That’s a sexy holiday!!” says JFK.

“To you!” says Lacey. “I don’t think I’d agree.”

“What about…Hell?” says Lacey.

“Yeah!!! LOVE IT!!!” says Satan.

“See! He’s so into it. Nancy…Hell? Do you think you’ll take the holiday?” says Lacey. “I wouldn’t. But…you like the aesthetic? What’s that mean?”

“I have worshipped him. At a concert.” says Nancy. “But that was just a concert.”

“Nancy wasn’t that right before you got cancer?” says Lacey.

Lucky Star by Madonna plays.

“Yeah.” she says.

“Dude! Maybe that’s related.” says Lacey.

“Why me?” says Nancy.

“Aren’t you Hispanic and German and Catholic? Yo! Maybe someone wants you dead. To protect you from yourself. You know? So you don’t keep worshipping Satan. Or…” says Lacey.

“Maybe I wanted you dead…because you’d just worshiped me. And your soul was in prime condition for death to me.” says Satan.

“Or he was scared.” says Lacey.

“Of this!?” says Nancy.

“YES!!!” yells Satan. “She’s determined to end the world.”

“I was a plea bargain.” says F. Scott Fitzgerald. “And Satan knew you’d get attached to that. To attack her. Not just to actually grow.”

“Okay! Well…worship Jesus, Nancy.” says a saint.

“I agree! Satan…isn’t…a good idea.” says Lacey to Nancy. “Worship Christ.”

The song played again.

The Green Mile by Thomas Newman plays.

“Yes!! You’re better!” yells Nancy at Lacey. “Okay! YOU’RE SO MUCH BETTER!!”

“Am I?” says Lacey.

“Yeah.” says Nancy.

“Then why bother competing with me?” says Lacey.

Nancy thinks.

Everybody Got Their Something by Nikka Costa plays.

“To be better!!” says Nancy.

“But how will that work!?” says Lacey.

“Because! It’s war.” says Nancy.

“Except it’s not. Because you know you aren’t fighting to be better. You’re just trying to obliterate my soul.” says Lacey.

Nancy thinks.

“Why are you so damn focused on me?” says Lacey.

“Because you’re better.” says Nancy.

“SO WHAT!?” says Nancy.

“ don’t kill yourself, but I think you’re possibly too stupid to realize that what you really want to do is be better than God. I think you’re just in rebellion against God.” says Lacey. “ because theoretically, you could just focus on yourself and just focus on your own life and just focus on being happy as you may have been told to do before, but if you choose not to do that, and you choose to focus on other people to try to destroy them because they’re threatening to you you’re not gonna get better you’re just gonna possibly seem better but not really be better which is a rejection of God either intentionally or accidentally.”

“ rejection of myself.” says Nancy.

“ that’s what you’re aiming for because I suspect that my love for you as a person is real and that’s what you’re supposed to be doing for me and everybody else and frankly in Christ it’s not quite that hard to do it. It’s just Nancy I analyze people, and I know that I am theoretically based on the hierarchies of this world that are real better than you, but that’s the fallen world and if there’s anything about it that’s beyond that that’s between you and God it worries me but but it’s between you and God I poverty is still evil. Children are still vulnerable. We still want people to be happy and healthy psychology is possibly possibly still very valid, but you can’t I need you you just if you can’t be so I want to see almost demanding of of the fallen world that everything will just be happy. Is that it? No I’m sure it sucks to be poor than me sucks shit and I don’t mean to be mean, but no, you’re not as pretty as you could be, but that’s the thing you’ll be your self not me don’t try to steal me from myself, that’s sick you’re supposed to exist Nancy as yourself nobody else and then that person in heaven would be very happy and very beautiful but more pop up. I would that probably more beautiful than I am more beautiful than a lot of people are but you still be yourself so if there’s wounds there that are miserable, those good heels and it’s well fun to be you as a thing. What are we even have a conversation about the poverty that you may have growing up in the fact that you had a nose job and then heaven, you wouldn’t even need to have a nose job I mean what it what is this conversation even about and I care but it becomes impossible because I can’t read your mind. I have no idea what’s really bothering you. I have no idea.” says Lacey.

“ so if there’s reincarnation, you’re not supposed to be here?” says Nancy.

“ I don’t think so. If anything I’ve said is helpful to you that’s good but I don’t think I’m supposed to be here if there’s reincarnation I don’t think so. Believe it or not and I know you’ve been through an incredible amount potentially but there’s a difference, how do I say that there’s a difference between misery and pain and suffering and impossibility, my life is like impossible. It has become almost impossible there’s reincarnations, and I tend to think that there’s a reason for that I’m not sure literally I’m not sure that I was originally supposed to be here right now God is allowed it and God will work it out, but know there’s a difference between awful things in life and things that are just totally impossible and it’s it’s like I can’t. I mean if there’s reincarnation I literally can’t even talk as myself anymore. I’m not kidding. I open up my mouth and it is Scottish accent comes out that’s absurd that you know it’s like it’s not even misery it’s just.

Later.

The phone just died, and I may have spent a few hours, psychically counseling Nancy, because it turns out even though she’s a little bit of a narcissist, she may have actually had a legitimately, miserable childhood. How did I psychically counsel Nancy, possibly through a very real illuminati. She may have had a very real pain that was very confusing to her. She could also be a little bit of a narcissist like a sincere one, but she seems like there’s real pain there too so we seem to come to an agreement that she should really move to New Jersey, I live in a two-story house in a nice neighborhood but not like a huge house just like a nice house.

And then we seem to think at least I thought that she should move to a nice area of New York but not like super posh necessarily but just kind of nice probably like the upper east side but maybe the upper West side but New York is so expensive but we we decided that she couldn’t do that um if we were talking and you know it’s sad because she really did have a genuinely difficult childhood seemingly

And the decision is, I’m still prettier than her. I still have more holier than her potentially have a better family socioeconomically, and I may be smarter than her and kinder so we didn’t fix that.

And I don’t know how to fix- I don’t know how to fix that. the thing is I I I really have my hands tied so to speak and I don’t think it’s gods fault but I do I have a there’s nothing I can do to make her equal to me at the problem is a she’s still be herself, but I think she could be that person, it’s it’s just it’s like I don’t. I don’t know why it is the way it is in this fallen world but there’s not much I can do personally and I think that really was the crux of my problem is that there’s that there’s not a lot I can do and I’m a little tired of people holding me personally responsible for all evil.” says Lacey.

“ how the heck did we get it in our head that you were personally responsible for all evil?” says Nancy.

“ I don’t know it scares me slightly but not terribly so but I don’t know but there’s like there’s nothing I can do Nancy I’m sorry I can’t go back and fix your childhood. I can’t make you my equal socioeconomically I can’t I can’t do that to the whole world right now I can’t I don’t know why I don’t know well and then an antichrist would be a terrible idea but that’s the thing getting rid of evil was with Christ was supposed to be doing and I think he’s done it but things have gotten pretty bad but basically just please stop holding me accountable. Please stop holding children accountable. Please stop holding yourself fully Academy hold yourself accountable hold yourself accountable in Christ hold yourself accountable but don’t I mean what are we all? Are we all doing that? Are we all are a lot of people anyway, going around trying to figure out who brought evil into the world I’m not Eve I don’t. I’m not Eve and I don’t know why people think people think I’m Eve, I’m not here I wonder if because I’m illegitimate potentially if I just seem creepily maternal and so people have just assumed that I am eat for something weird like that but no I’m not. I’m not Eve.” says Lacey.

“ Lacey why the heck did you burst our bubble?” asks Marsie.

“ well mercy because you’re adults and you guys are being really catty to me and inappropriate so if you guys hadn’t been being complete assholes to me all that complete assholes I’m sorry if you hadn’t been being assholes, I might not have said some thing that potentially could burst peoples bubbles and I don’t think I was trying to do that. Um, I think I relish doing that. I think it’s a little weird that you would assume that I’d be that evil that’s not the tone that I wrote anything it when you’re reading stuff you’re supposed to read the tone not just try to read between the lines like a psychic.

I am anyway no you people were a little confusing I you know it was you were kind of mean what if you were a little a few if you were a bit much and so I decided to put my foot down and say no no this isn’t OK and what you’re doing is ludicrous anyway.” says Lacey.

“ but then, with the family that you were raised in when do that.” says Marsie.

“ that’s true but that to me seems ill advised because what does that even do to me it’s just tedious and patronizing patronizing but it’s so grossly tedious to just tolerate it and not try to call people out and find out what’s going on you’re just gonna tolerate that nonsense?” says Lacey.

“ but isn’t that white trash?” says Marsie.

“ why would it be white trash?” says Lacey.

“ because I’ve always heard that rich people just don’t care and they’re just so happy all the time and they just never say anything or get upset and they’re just super cheerful and calm and sweet and rational and perfectly levelheaded and polite and they would never confront somebody they would just patronize them probably and just be like I don’t notice I’m too damn happy and rich.” says Marsie.

“ yeah that’s just not me that’s just not me I just can’t be that indifferent to people. I’m sorry.” says Lacey.

“ but I think we want you to be.” says Marsie.

“ you say that I don’t believe you because I’ve seen way too many movies and which many books were the people I was like nobody cares nobody cares nobody ever bothers to notice that I am dying inside I mean it’s like mad that was just like oh everyone lives there quiet life of misery in black-and-white in the 1950s. And I think I don’t condone the DK western society post 1950s but I will tell you this much I will do my best to bring you color and life and I will notice you because honestly that’s what I would want I would want someone to take to confront me. And to be frank, the way that I did it respectfully, I was measured I was intellectually astute. There was a well written post. Everything I write is pretty much well written even though no one has almost ever said that to me, people barely ever give me compliments Mercy and when they do they’re usually pretty extraordinary because what I do might actually be that great I’m probably a genius you’re not most likely although maybe you are I’m saying that because who the hell do you think you are right or is that not the way you say it And maybe that’s not quite where we’re going with this conversation but the thing is it’s just I would love for someone to notice that my writing is good if it was bad, I would actually want them to notice that too but nope people just don’t pay attention to me people don’t notice me for who I really am almost at all and I would love if they would. I try to be very loud and open about who I am on a certain level Which is pretty much the opposite of JFK where is it but either way I feel like I’m not that different than most people and then I’m crying for love I think we all do and so I think I try in my own way to sort of confront people to to be loving.” says Lacey.

“ I don’t know that I give almost a shit about you at all.” says Marsie.

“ and yeah I know I know. Why do you choose that?” says Lacey.

“In your case I choose evil.” she says.

“ yeah, that might not actually be a wise choice though mercy like it’s actually in our conscience to love people you have to lose choose not to so I don’t understand why people choose not to love me I don’t get it. It’s just kind of fucked up. Sorry for swearing and I just think what the freaking Frick is going on because it’s bizarre. I’m actually a pretty lovable person objectively speaking most likely I’m probably pretty lovable and it doesn’t really make any sense per se. It doesn’t really make any sense at all, so I don’t really understand why people are so fucking determined to reject me.” says Lacey.

“ to be honest with you she’s right Marcy it actually is weird and now you’re trying to reject that because it sounds true but you don’t like it because it makes you feel inferior potentially but you know honestly it is weird because if it hadn’t been for what she’s describing to you that you may admit to doing yourself she wouldn’t have discovered the illuminati the actual illuminati.” says Chris Hayes.

“ he is red, so I don’t know why you choose to not be kind to me and away in your heart. I don’t know why Marcy I don’t think it makes any sense. I’m not JFK I’m not some ugly grandmother who kill babies I’m not a dog that bit people I’m not Satan, but that’s how you treat me as to some degree and it’s actually quite strange. I don’t think you’re those things either. Most likely it’s it’s strange Marcy and someone is supposed to have noticed that and no one ever did.” says Lacey.

“Goodnight.” says Lem, taking Lacey to bed.

“Marsie Explains” by Lem

“Lacey…do or don’t edit this blog.

Here’s a tip: We hate you. However! we actually liked you. And part of what confused us was that…we not you we were having fun pretending we were thee ultra rich. Right? Because that’s good perfume. So…essentially we wear real rich people’s perfume. Even if we’re not rich.

Did you know that!?!?” she says, worried.

“NO!” says Matthew Nesheim. “She didn’t.”

“Not at all!?” says Marsie.

“No! Not…almost at all.” says Matthew.

“Yeah! We do that!” says Bobby. “Except we were rich.”

“Oh! I had that figured out years ago. But probably in some crying fit in my 20’s I forgot.” says Lacey.

“Yes. Some man devastated her.” says Lady Spencer.

“Lacey what THE FUCK!?” says a gay man.

Indaco by Einaudi plays.

“Lacey, what did you think was happening?” says India.

“I thought that people were just collecting perfume and showing off essentially.” says Lacey.

“Oh, like actual rich people!” says Mr. Cologne 76.

“Yes like actual rich people! That’s expensive perfume, and the way you do it seems like you’re showcasing it. You’re showcasing it. How could she not interpret as you showcasing it?” says Ulysses.

“But like actual rich people don’t do that.” he says.

“No they do they really do because part of what you guys were doing was analyzing the perfume in this very almost worshipful-of-objects sort of way, which is how a lot of actual Old Money aristocratic rich people show-off like important portraits of fine art. And the more quality the item the better care they usually take of it, so they might put it up on the wall in just the right room with the right, sort of lighting and then they take good care of it because it’s like the one or two things that they you know really care about in the room whatever that they care about and so in my mind, I thought, ‘No these people must be extremely rich!’ because you know something else rich people do or really rich people do is they showcase tiny stupid things that are really inconsequential. So like sometimes in school in the morning kids would bring in maybe like a mug? Like a really expensive mug and that was like a status symbol because they already looked rich and it seemed like that was just the icing on the cake for them. Like a quality mug. Even in the early 2000s! Or like they’d bring in maybe a bag full of Blow Pops. Blow Pops were really super popular. Britney Spears shows us that in at least one of her interviews and they were in my my high school.

So like…all the girls who were really pretty and had like bleach blonde hair and like a tan would suck on like Blow Pops and that was a status symbol. So if you had an endless supply of Blow Pops people suspected that you were probably from some money…because it’s like how does this person keep bringing Blow Pops? Their parents are just buying them endless candy? I doubt that! No…I have a feeling that they ‘I don’t know.’

They have a lot of money somehow. So it’s- I mean people over analyze or they did but it’s just, it’s stuff like that. So I think I thought somehow that you guys were a lot wealthier than you were…and that might’ve been part of my frustration. It was that I just didn’t understand why people were so extremely competitive. Does that make sense?” says Lacey.

“So it seemed like we were just constantly striving to be better than each other, or better than our former selves in this like almost psychotic way?” says Ekaterina.

“Yes.” says Lacey.

“Matthew, would you have experienced that too?” says Marsie.

“I yes I did.” says Matthew.

“So what happened to you?” says Marsie.

“ so guys that I was in basic training with or who I was station with for from more middle to lower middle background were out to sort of brag about certain things that they were doing or had that my parents would never of allowed us to do or have because it was just too extravagant to them or too expensive or something and so I will try to fit in and kind of be like that’s cool. You know you guys are really cool that that you could do that and they would just get really quiet and kind of like freaked out by it and it was just weird and I thought what am I doing wrong? I’m just being a nice person I’m just be excepting of these people like I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong right now socially and then end and then, and then they were just kind of be sort of weirded out by me and think I was just awkward or something and I’m not really that awkward. I realize that since I died, especially that I’m not really as awkward as I thought it was our family shut up my generation a lot we were forced to be very quiet and listen and obey and really take things extremely seriously and that wasn’t bad because we were all raised to be very affluent people most of us are I was so much reasonably all I mean I wasn’t rich, but we were doing OK. My wife was a professor for a while and I was trying to be a writer and I had some money saved and it wasn’t an extravagant lifestyle at all but we were doing OK and that’s what we were raised with. It’s like you don’t break even if you have like Joni even if you have 14 million and some savings account combine with stock options you still sleep on someone’s floor when you’re visiting them in our family and she did in the last five years. She slept on Lacey‘s mothers floor and her condo in downtown St. Paul, even if she is worth more than JD Vance and his Wife, Yep I just said that that’s really what happened you guys seriously that’s my family so so then you don’t it’s like you don’t talk about stuff like that I don’t like someone might’ve had like their parents might’ve sent them a brand new video game system for Christmas for everyone to play in some room somewhere my parents would never have done something like that to us that’s some thing you do when you have like a Normas amount of money like startling amount of money probably be 30 million I’m not kidding we’re very frugal and so so then it’s sort of like you just you just don’t do that you just don’t do that where is coming from his background you do you do stuff like that it’s fun that’s like a extravagant thing but you do it for fun but I didn’t realize that I really didn’t. I wasn’t exposed to those people and neither was she so we were supposed to people who are upper middle class mostly in fairy catty and bourgeois and rude and we were always trying to get along with them so then when I join the military and when she started trying to relate to people who were not in the upper class in the perfume community or even maybe upper middle class we made it possibly a very similar very serious almost deadly mistake, because we just didn’t know that you guys did that like you don’t talk about it it’s not in the media I may be slightly, but not enough for us to know that it’s like something to consider and so it’s like oh yeah I’ve heard of that that’s right they do that but there is you’re saying it’s like they do that they do that they not you that just sounds awful and It’s. If you’re if you have a good heart intent like her, you could say it and it it might work. because she’s sweet and she’s a woman and she’s somewhat ditzy and so it’s like maybe this woman is not completely evil but if I were to say that you think I was a horrible person almost hands-down, no questions asked.

So things got me after a while because I was trying to fit in with people and no I was going around offending people and it was in a way where it’s like they couldn’t really just be like Matthew are you from a wealthy family and you’re kind of an idiot I guess not really an idiot, but you just have no idea what’s going on because these were dudes These reduce these were hard-core, conservative or tough dudes, especially in the group of people I was in a most of them are at least middle-class, but they were. They were really tough guys. I’m tough to, but not in the way that they were. I’m actually just as tough as them but it’s not in the same way, so I was eventually a leader in the group, and I lead very important, very dangerous missions used with involving like land, lines, and things of that nature, and it was kind of secret and important, and they gave that to me and I was honored, and my family was very honored and that was exactly the sort of thing that I wanted to do but it was frustrating, because I still felt some guilt and it was just part of my guilt was that I felt like I cheated somehow and I couldn’t process it when I died, and I started reading her blog out and totally floored me because I was like this is exactly what I was going through but I didn’t know that.

No I just I didn’t know that because we didn’t talk about people don’t talk about this. So no I didn’t realize that I came from this very sort of cold, Auster Nordic, aristocratic background I thought sort of beautiful bleak do you know snowy background in that beautiful and blue not just Blake but but that was that was what happened so personally so it’s like well, I I could try it is sort of feel less guilty but I could figure out how to feel less guilty. I say to Kamala Harris because I had not been exposed as much as Lacey to Hinduism and no I’m not saying that you should become people should become Hindus I’m saying that I’ll actually I’m starting to see what she thinks about things that I’m not entirely agreeing or disagreeing with her because I think people should know something about Hinduism not not a not a New Age Way in the old school Hindu way of seeing things before it became Americanized, the actual Hindu religion

So part of how she survived was reading about Brahman dating because she thought I wonder if that’s what I’m experiencing, and it made some sense to her so her understanding of Hinduism allowed her an insight into her own suffering given her hypothesis hypothesis about her background it gave her some sort of Emotional psychological outlet to let herself have breeze cause it’s like I don’t think I’m a bad person I I don’t know what’s going on but I think I’m a bad person I think something terrible is happening oh and I but I didn’t have that and I didn’t have that, so I had no idea that that was even a thing that beat that there could be such incredible resentment between classes in that very deep, seeded, horrendous sort of way.

So so I was like wow this makes sense I guess believe it or not I really I am sorry I am genuinely traumatized. I just told you a few minutes ago I thought in the war I thought and while she was enough it was Afghanistan or Iraq and maybe that’s for a reason, but I was over there, I know recently and I recently enough so to speak I’m her age and so no I was over there and I was doing work with with land mines and such and different secret missions and I was very risky and I lived I lived I lived I lived and I lived and I lived because I was somehow able to give my background. I had a better ability in America. I’m not sure it would’ve been like that in Great Britain so if there’s been carnation, her husband Lem’s died he did because in World War I the most brave, most heroic post aristocrat at people sometimes or often times lead the charge, because that was seen as their duty and their honor and a virtue and so in that culture they lead the charts in America we do that, but not in the same way, so I lived and I lived and I lived.

And essentially at some point, I got a mortal amount of immortal wound. I got a deadly amount of survivors guilt at least in part that was one of the things I got to me was just an extraordinary amount of survivors guilt the sunset I didn’t have a right to be so alive Because it’s like how does this keep happening how do I keep doing this? How do I keep living? I know that I’m unhappy that I’m alive but there’s something very weird about it. I don’t like this by I mean I like this but I don’t like that there’s something strange going on And I am I’m a pretty daring person right after my grandfather died and everyone in our family and her generation my generation jumped off this very tall bridge with a highway that goes over a river and you said it back then there was a $5000 fine to jump off the bridge. It was dangerous but all the teenagers with our family jumped off the bridge and she did not, she stood there holding everyone’s camera on the side of one of the Bluffs and western North Dakota. You know it’s like rocks and stuff. It’s just staring at us like we were all stupid evil and crazy and we all lived. We were very good swimmers and we were all good at diving but she knew she would die. Most likely she knew she drowned or break her neck And so she refused to do it which was not stupid. They’ll be a horrible way to die but that’s him a terrifying horrific death was not some thing she wanted to experience so so she just stood there but I did it I mean I was, I was like no skin off my nose and so it’s not like I was the person who played it safe but I just kept living and it got to me. I was happy and proud of myself that I thought this is really really fucked up

On my wedding my wedding day, which was in January and we were at this sort of expensive resort also and everyone of my family was there and it was like a destination wedding and Lacey showed up in this like silk black off the shoulder dress and she was extravagantly beautiful arguably were the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen in my life and incredibly sexy I mean it was just astounding and then my other cousin Linn, did you seen her picture, she looks hot and her husband is this like bath dark kind of like model looking guy who’s straight and is like super down to earth I’m kind of like Ken like the dog Ken a

So so so so I was kind of freaked out because it’s like there’s cold is hot really unusually hot women in my family and then my sister is beautiful and she just won was North Dakota like I am around that time or she was about you but the other thing is it was it was weird to me and then Joni was getting into like modeling and stuff I don’t know Where all this oil money and I thought my wife is so great and then we had this house and parents just built this new house next to lake next to Devils Lake with a sprawling backyard. That’s stretched out to the lake and it was really nice with like a beach, that’s why I went home to this private beach on Devils Lake and I thought this is really screwed up.

I thought this is just this is screwed up and maybe some people don’t understand some people come from wealthy backgrounds in the military and it’s a different sort of way. It’s more obvious because it’s frankly less old money than mine. Yeah don’t don’t try to correct me right now because I’m not an idiot really there Are a lot of people in the military who come from wealthy backgrounds but they imitate the bush family OK that’s not necessarily genuine old money it could be but not necessarily my family really is old money week week we can trace our wealth back to the 1700s to a famous silver Smith who is very essential in Norway Who built a large house that we still have in the family. That’s not you most likely OK I’m sorry.

So you don’t understand you really don’t if you’re trying to be empathetic you don’t understand that just the head trip that I went through. It’s like you guys have this sort of understanding that you’re a little different than other people like Tucker Carlson would know that it’s like a wealthy wealthy Matthew like just let it go this is this is reality you know this is the survival of the fittest. Sorry, Matthew but that’s not what I grow up with, our money comes from the 1700s in Norway before the survival of the fittest thing was popular and so were these very Christian Lutheran people making silver and Norway not making actual sterling silver for people even wealthier and worse. Just a nice probably maybe in Sweden possibly in other parts of Scandinavia with a mark that belongs to our family just our family that’s how important we are in the silver Smith commute or silver community. I doubt there’s many antique stores that probably have stuff from our family, but there should be some somewhere, anyway do we have some seltzer? There’s some silver in the family and in the house on the fjord but the thing is that’s not you OK you don’t have some grand you know alpine a house in Norway that spin your family with sterling silver in it that you made that’s not who you are. I’m not saying that we’re not alike in someway I’m just saying I’m a little different than you and so whether you’re healthier than me or not I’m different.

And by healthier I mean psychologically and I’m talking to people right now who I like Tucker Carlson I didn’t have that. I’m sorry I didn’t have that psychological cushion so I went home to family that’s cold and aristocratic and a Norwegian like actually Norwegian.

So OK it seems like Vladimir Putin has some empathy for me. No really I can sense that he does which is actually more comforting to me and Lacey than you might think so I actually love our Nordic heritage, so does she but it’s it is cold when Betty says that line I’m not cold I’m Nordic it irritates me and Lacey both because it’s like people don’t take that character. Seriously they think she’s total worthless idiot and away but then that’s the representative that we have in media. No we’re not that stupid, we’re actually brilliant potentially as a culture but the idea is that I came back to this family I wasn’t expecting to be that well off because were so austere and humble and meek and Norwegian and Lutheran that it’s like no no the people with Xbox are probably superior to me. I just don’t understand. Somehow I must try to understand this to be a good person And then you live and they possibly actually might’ve died one of them or a few of them might’ve actually literally been blowing up and then you have to deal with that as a leader in the admin in your troop and the bothers you and then you go home and your parents built a brand new house next to a lake and everyone’s happy and beautiful and do you think What the hell? What the hell is this?” says Matthew.

“ if there’s ring carnation, is it just like a kind of a disconnect like I kind of wonder if you’re from some European aristocratic family too, so did you just are you and Lacey just you’re comfortable but then you’re just totally confused or like what never mind that’s probably too much information but anyway, I kind of understand what you mean.” says Mr. Cologne.

“ yeah I knew you would want to be honest I get the sense that you care and so does Lacey but they were all so irritated because it seems Rosa seems like you really don’t care at the same time that way that’s hurtful.” says Matthew.

“ aw, so know that that that is problematic on another family that’s been actually very therapeutic to me has been Lacey‘s family that she married into him the Jews, the Schiebel‘s because David was in Korea and he understood me and David and Harriet tried really hard to be loving to me and-“ says Matthew.

“ we just had a really fun time we’ve had a fun time. Matthew and I have a we’ve had a fun time

here you know OK?

the last time I saw Lacey I said to her husband let’s go get a drink.

Lacey you might actually be a saint, but it probably be recognized, but you might actually be one of sexual abuse victims.” says David Schiebel accidentally being recorded.

“I would be one that she would have us. Yes, patron saint of sexual abuse victims. Oh my gosh yes I’ll be a pinch of patron saint of lost love to death or something else. Tragic so then, because there be some pedophiles who ask her to pray for them, possibly maybe she has no but she’ll try to understand and God will try to understand indeed, and hold me accountable and save me from hell oh wow OK and then if I am some forces rationality, I would have to probably be a leader in my community probably end up being that loser.” says St. Patrick.

“ that was a accidentally recorded conversation between David Schiebel and Saint Patrick.” says Michael Rockefeller.

“ but OK Lacey is back now and I can actually speak intentionally. I was just saying she should be a patron, patron saint to Saint Patrick. My granddaughter in law should be a patron saint. I was just telling Saint Patrick that.

So the thing is so the thing is the arm a they hold you accountable they do they hold you accountable here I wasn’t trying to go drink and be you know evil with Matthew but we did go have a pint in Duluth sometimes ghost hunters don’t know who they’re talking to and they think they’re talking to someone who’s connected to the building or the land or there’s a portal they always say and you know there could be, but it’s possibly a little more mundane.

So we were in Minnesota because that’s where Lacey and her husband mice my grandson live and we visited them once and St Paul knows years ago but so so so we were with Matthew. We were having a paint avail and up at a pub and then they recorded us that Simon says what is the what’s your name it’s one of the nicer bars in Duluth yeah, I mean here and I had a good taste and Matthew likes to get a pint in so we had fun, we never got to do that they didn’t they didn’t have a wedding. You know they eloped Lacey and her husband eloped my grandson and that was actually really painful for Harriet and I so with Matthew being on the other side we had a really nice conversation. It was not like a wedding, but it was kind of nice. It was nice And actually part of the reason we were there. Yes this is coming to her now she wanted to have a reception for us in Duluth. This is real. She actually had that in the back of her head and just never worked out she told my son that if he remembers Him yeah I’m at I don’t wanna tell you the paranormal organization it’s on the block but I don’t want to say it again because I don’t want you to harass those people I don’t but no I got my name in this they said David David came through the name David came through and some device that they used Envoy let me tell you it was hard to keep talking to work. It was really fun. It was really difficult it’s like all you gotta use. You got to go get the energy and it’s difficult that it takes. It’s like playing with some sort of game that is really challenging, mentally and psychologically. It’s difficult Doesn’t usually happen. God doesn’t usually allow it I am and usually intelligent I had people helping me like Carol Loeb was a genius and Elliot Roosevelt though so helping me and Matthews pretty smart too that was his grandfather so so a lot of people in her family actually HB Nesheim was brilliant so she has some genius people working on it and yeah we got through. I got my name through and then I’m able to tell you which is also very unusual, so that’s one of the people in my voice actually even she heard my voice. They recorded my voice. They don’t hear everything they record. She hears it because she has an unusual brain, she actually hears things you guys don’t hear but they did get David say that you can doubt it and think oh no she’s just imagining things but no her husband came and my grandson came up with the idea to go to the Grant House, Hotel and that was our hook up. It was the Grant house hotel as one of the most haunted hotels in Minnesota. Those people are so nice they’re the ghost they’re very nice people and they were nice to her. They’re nice to me and it was a great weight with great way to sort of a bridge the gap so to speak Because they went there too they went there to and that was how she found them and they were there and they she got a recording of a ghost. It’s on her Instagram account. He was the man that you see flashing by the screen he’s from the 1800s he’s like a Penava and overseer of the hotel and you know it was a classy hotel but there are people there who are middle-class and working class who works there and he just raced by. He had fun. The thing is Lacey feels like she relates to him well and she does it. She’s not a jerk and he is a very intelligent person. He just really likes that hotel. She has a lot of very good memories there and got less you work through stuff so he just wants to be there for now and kind of just you know sort things through you know, we do matter a lot of a lot of you, psychics make the mistake of saying to ghost go to the light.

Yours are saying go to the light go to the light just go to the lights I’ll help you crossover go to the do you have any idea how abrasive that is it sometimes there could be some people maybe who need a little encouragement to do better with God and work on themselves a little more with his help if they can But a lot of us really are fine and we don’t need you telling us constantly go to the light go to the light just go to the light like really really you think we’re that stupid when we’re dead?

Like you really think that they will be ghosts but then, when they’re a ghost, we’re ghost, we just lose all of our ability to rationally think know I’m a ghost not an imbecile you know it’s like I have a brain I can think I am myself. oh, maybe when I was a life I was a little less smart than I thought like JFK. I’m sorry to say oh there could be some people like Lacey, who are gonna die and realize they’re more intelligent than they realize and that’s gonna be hard and shocking and lonely, and I could be preparing her for that partially, but that is not common a lot of people die and they’re about the same. I’m so saying go to the light. Thanks ever so much you know I’ll take that into advisement. You’re the fourth person to tell me that in the last two years good grief.

Oh, come on yeah yeah so I guess be careful going to the grind house that’s the other thing my relationship with those people Ron Craft‘s relationship with those people Ray Craft, relationship with those people at the Schurke‘s relationship with the people at the greenhouse hotel, good hills relationship, I mean we get along with those people, Louis Hill Junior gets along with them very well so just let them actually and Michael gets along with him at least reasonably well and Harold not as much this they actually might’ve been a little triggering to him and reminded him of his life in Canada and different things are painful to him but but but but he gets along well enough, but you know not everyone could go to that hotel and have a pleasant experience so some people could go there, and it would be very scary so that’s the other thing you have to be careful if your child don’t do that talk to god if you’re an adult talk to god if you go there and you’re trying to and you’re trying to sort of ghost hunt that away that’s not appropriate do you make it scared you make it haunted in like an attachment and that’s everything I want explain there are demonic entities to attach themselves to automatic entities who attach themselves to go centers then there are ghosts who also do it and some of those people have good intentions, and some of them have bad, but you have to be aware that you don’t know so it’s you know they’re always people are trying so hard to sort of protect themselves And sort of distance themselves and I understand but you also have to know that being too distant can also be a problem like you do you wanna be distant but you need to really be praying to God if you’re going to do that you shouldn’t do that, but if you do you need to be in touch with Christ, you need to be in touch with God Because you can’t, you can’t go into a situation like that with Ellen tent without hurting yourself or someone else.” says David.

“ I just want to say this has been helpful if this is real I appreciate it that’s a good explanation. Would I be able to go to the Wabasha historic Wabasha hotel? I would pay an exorbitant amount of money to go sit in that basement with that be safe, if if I would’ve worked it out for myself or know somebody who would like to with that be safe?” says Ellen DeGeneres.

“ well, Ellen, I mean it depends on who it is. My daughters name is Ellen I’m sorry it depends on who it is Alan so you could do it. You could do it you would be OK if you went with God you could do it you could go in the basement and you would be fine. It would be possibly actually a little boring to be honest but you could do that, you could sit down there with a drink and not much would happen. You might experience some thing a little creepy there be someone maybe I was the corner of your eye that you keep seeing and you have a weird feeling about the walls possibly him and just kind of an overall like kind of an edge vibe like there’s things moving that you can’t see, like possibly dead cats to be honest, they could be a ghost of cats in that hotel room. They had a cat room Lacey saw it she members vividly and it was really lovely. It was actually an homage though to prostitution because it was in the back of the hotel by the stairs and in the 1800s that’s where the brothel would’ve been possibly kind of in the back of the hotel in a room that was very politely marked as something else and you sort of know what it was, but needs to serve stay away from that area, but then they may have someone who has a very twisted sense of humor at some point may have thought that it made sense to make that the cat room I’m sorry this is an adult blog. I apologize but know that they may have decided that that was the cat room and then the idea was that you would go in and pick out a cat that you rent for the night so there was a room full of cats and you can literally rent a cat for the Night and it was actually really innocent and sweet a lot of kids rented cats a lot of families dead. They actually were very good people and they took very good care of the cats so it was a joke. It was a very good joke to a lot of cheeky people in the 1990s and 80s who thought they were pretty hip and cool and edgy and rich they were a lot of them are really quite wealthy they would stay there, but you know it was innocent but it was like you’d rent a cat and it was kind of cute and the cats were very well taken care of but that that’s the thing though there’s a lot of stuff there that people don’t understand because they’re not like Lacey or myself, or other people, to who voice been aware kind of of certain things, and it will be a generational thing partially to know him and so the they don’t always pick up on stuff that the ghost hunters that she saw were in the basement and they kept hearing stuff that bootlegging and I don’t know why they didn’t get it or if they did and they didn’t say some thing but there was a bootlegging sort of actual speakeasy in that hotel, possibly in the basement and so the people who were in the basement with her father at a local man from Wisconsin you said I don’t agree with that. He said I don’t agree with it. I don’t agree with prohibition. He thought it was morally wrong he was possibly a pretty well a farmer from Wisconsin who genuinely thought that it was somewhat immoral, given his background and sort of the beer in Germany and other stuff like that, he believed as a German, American farmer in Wisconsin that it was immoral that he really literally thought prohibition was immoral and he tries to tell him that I didn’t irritated me too lazy thought this is historical. This is a monumental thing.

Oh yeah and Anne Bobby knew that and I knew that and a lot of people who were bootleggers like her father knew that, and we just expected people to be in all of the historical significance of the whole thing and it didn’t quite work out. It is possible that after that, Matthew Nesheim took us up to Duluth and explain to us that that’s just not how people are Who are alive today.” says David Schiebel.

Later.

“I’m DEAD!!!” yells Lacey’s living daughter. She’s playing a video game. “I’M DEAD!!!” she screams as if trying to make a point. “I’M DEAD!!!” she screams.

Lacey’s legal husband takes the game and plugs it in. She giggles oddly.

“What’s so funny?” asks Lacey, sweetly.

She sighs. “I’m dead.”

“You’re dead?” says Lacey.

“Yup!” she says eating her snack and now playing another game.

“She’s talking about the game.” says Lacey’s son. “It’s dead. Dad just plugged it in.”

“Oh! Oh, got it!” says Lacey.

Silence.

“Elizabeth you meant the game?” Lacey asks one last time.

“Mmhmm!” she says now totally distracted by her game.

“Yes you seem alive.” says Lacey.

“She is mom! …She just meant the game!” says her son casually in an almost British accent.

Exhausted by the madness of it all Lacey goes upstairs and lays down. Sighs. It’s ABSURD.

A psychic eating a Blow Pop thinks. “I get that reference I remember women eating candy like that too.” she says. “It’s a Millennial thing. It really is. It is a late teens early 20s Millennial thing.

Let’s talk to Matthew.” she says, sighing. “ Matthew I’m confused what David was saying was actually possibly historical evidence of ghosts that hopefully will be recorded somewhere other than just this blog not that that isn’t significant, but that is so unusual to have the whole thing makes sense, and then the name comes through perfectly and those people are authentic that I think she’s referring to. That’s very unusual, and it scares me because it reminds me of this blog it’s like those people are real ghost hunters they’re getting frighteningly real reactions out of ghosts and I wouldn’t be remotely surprised if it’s connected to her and her own supernatural activity and if there’s an illuminati, I mean, it’s basically connected to the illuminati just really quickly David for clarification, Tom Banks, her father in Christ and I, Wisconsin a German American Wisconsin farmer from somewhere near Wabasha and who who else was in that basement that I’m not on that occasion at at that the Anderson house who is at the Anderson house other than possibly you and your wife, Tom Banks, of a farmer from Wisconsin and who else was in that basement like there could’ve been lots of people I am aware of that but like so how do you say nobody on the street or the bar next-door but just in the basement in your party? Who is with you?”

“ oh, well, it’s actually my wife and I weren’t necessarily in that conversation. Oh we might’ve wandered off in the basement scene. We might not have been in that scene so to speak.

That scene was Bobby Kennedy, Senior JFK a favor from Wisconsin and who was it? It was a bootleg bootlegging thing which was sort of like the underground railroad but for liquor to humans, what is their connections across the border to Wisconsin he was sort of like a safe house for the liquor to see you had a pretty big farm and I mean it was prestigious and I don’t think anyone was really paying that much attention to him and his family and that way so I am it was him, Tom Banks, I am, and then there was a man there who would rather not maybe be named but he was he was a friend of Tom’s he is maybe not in the best shape spiritually so there’s some demons that work with him, but he’s not necessarily in hell, but he was a he was a rather important person in the alcohol business in. He may have actually been connected to the Anderson hotel so he brought the liquor into the hotel possibly through some sort of means in the basement and possibly a cold shoot limit of use the cold shoes to deliver the liquor into the hotel, but no, I mean he was like a distributor. He was sort of a distributor for the alcohol in that area. He was wearing a trenchcoat and pants of a fedora kind of like a person would at that time and 100 people to who I don’t, I would rather not name because the Kennedys were there, Joe Joe Kennedy Junior was there often on with Pat Wilson and I she kind of keeps a tight leash on him yes and a Frank Sinatra and that’s seen at the Palmer house hotel that the lady asked who killed you who killed you in Frank Sinatra answers Ava.” says David.

Lacey laughs.

“ that was a joke Frank Sinatra was making a joke about Ava Gardner. They had a they had horrible fights him and Ava had horrible fights and him. He might’ve been trying to make a joke about their marital relationship, and possibly lighten the mood a little because things were getting really dark at that moment because of the situation that we’re in there’s a battle there is a battle there’s a spiritual battle between good and evil and a lot of historical battles as well and so yeah so some point Frank Sinatra was trying to lighten the mood so possibly between Lacey‘s family and the Kennedys by the woman says who killed you and Frank sativa is he’s trying to sort of make a joke and get the Kennedys to laugh and get Lacey‘s family to laugh and it kind of works but not really but kind of.” says David.

“ who keeps touching, if I’m talking to from the afterlife or if you’re talking to me and someone’s being kind and ilumiNATTI whatever who keeps touching me who keeps touching me?” says a ghost Hunter.

“ I touched you watch once I touched you once I’m sorry I found it funny. You were very irritating to me the way you were talking to me and that was just me so I kind of poked you were touched you up that was in the basement of a store in Wisconsin who are used to be a Chinese restaurant I think that was where it was, that was me. I touched you there. That was me at David Schiebel from Ohio Laceyz call him grandpa in law I touched you I’m not the best person, but I’m not the worst person. Other people have touched you as well. Some of them are from the 1800s and they’re Very uneducated to be blunt and they don’t really know what they’re doing. They’re kind of they’re not good people but they’re very poor and so when you say don’t you can’t touch us you can’t they do sometimes listen because they’re not associate the worst people, so you can tell them that enough that you should be talking to us anyway but um, but sometimes those people sometimes you get touched by demons. Sometimes you guys get touched by demons and then sometimes there’s-“ he breaks off to laugh. “ sometimes you I’m sorry this is hard to say for some reason I don’t know why it’s funny, but there’s something kind of funny about it sort of satirical. You’ve been in situations-“ he breaks off laughing.

“ oh, I’ll explain because David for some reason and Lacey find this funny I don’t know why entirely I think it’s just their sense of humor. So sorry it is kind of funny.

At times do you go to brothels? sometimes it’s women that touch you and sometimes it’s men which I think some people might think of and I don’t blame you for not thinking of it, but that that that in some cases so at least his notice is to sometimes you get inspired to think of something and it’s not just you so often times your girlfriend or your partner will say I’m so fascinated because I’m pretty sure there were brothels in this area and she starts talking about it and going on about Stone, tape theory and brothels, but there’s partially someone inspiring her to think of that and then that could be part of who is that could be one of the people who were touching you there could be some people who are dead, who worked at in the brothels, both men and women who worked in brothels who are basically soliciting your services.” says Elliott. “ excuse me other way around they’re offering their services there they’re offering to to to to do something I don’t know. I don’t know if they’re trying to make some sort of agreement with you. Yeah, things are dark in some cases on the other side so they don’t know why are there in some cases they could be trying to make some kind of pact with you believe it or not that is not necessarily entirely good.”

“ let’s talk shop for just a second what are good safe like instruments to use the rest of this won’t hurt you this device doesn’t hurt you it’s OK is that true or are there some that are a little safer or a little easier than others?” says a man.

“ the K2 is gold believe it or not that that actually works really well. You do pick up a lot of different things and that’s a problem and obviously a lot of scientist use that to debunk stuff because they’re like oh no it’s just you know enough it’s not super natural, but those actually do you work pretty well they’re not good at helping you figure out if it’s a demon or a human or where it is or keep you safe but if you’re looking for some thing and you’re trying to figure out if it’s somewhere near you, if it’s even trying to communicate with you because we’re ghosts so it’s like 40 versus 3-D and you are in 3-D we’re in 40 potentially, so is it just the surgeon try to try to explain so we could be communicating with you from Pennsylvania when you’re when you’re in the graveyard in Wisconsin if we were connected to the people you’re talking to. So there’s all these new connections and stuff so we can kind of talk to you pretty quickly it’s almost it’s not wildly different than the Internet but it’s not like that but it is pretty quick communication so the the case you fix up on all of that, so sometimes you could be in the middle of nowhere and it would go off simply because there’s somethings is somewhere else physically that’s trying to contact you personally.

The thing that you’re talking to him that the thing I can’t think of the name of your apps off my head to the thing that you’re talking to a what works but it’s hard to use and it actually is hard on us physically we’re pretty much safe but it actually is a little. It’s it’s tiring. It’s very tiring to talk into that, I wish is part of the reason why the whole Estes method is flawed at times because it actually is physically tiring to us. It’s very hard to talk into that physically it’s like riding a marathon like we get tired so we can get a few words out, but then it takes a lot of time to get back to you with your next question or even try to figure out where you’re going with something sometimes it’s not safe to talk for us so no that is it’s affective but it’s it’s not necessarily the best method to use.

There really is no perfect way to do it because you’re not supposed to be doing it but God does understand he is compassionate. I’m just trying to be helpful.

Oh, this is going to creep you out by recording videos. The phones that actually is pretty much spot on. We get recorded more than you think and sometimes you really just don’t hear us. You really did capture my voice. Some of you have captured my voice and Laceyz heard it before, so she recognized me, but other people can’t hear it. It’s it’s sort of like it’s just hard I don’t know it’s just hard for your brains to hear it. Let’s see those little wind up things for it makes the noise and you walk past it. Those are used by people who are not very nice in a lot of cases partially because it sounds creepy. And it creeps you out um so sometimes those gets it off by people who are just jerks who are dead and then sometimes it gets it off by demons and sometimes children occasionally but not often I don’t sometimes if I try to be helpful and set it off but a lot of the people who said those off are jerks, which is why when you say step away Several way they don’t step away or if they do it’s like they come back because they want you to have to reset it they’re playing with you they’re trying to be irritating.

You’re not really supposed to be talking to us to be perfectly honest this is the best way to do it not that you should be doing it but through Christ if he’s allowing it because I’m actually talking to you I’m almost verbatim saying exactly what’s being written on this block, this is pretty clear is that it’s like the difference between a phone call and a telegram this is the phone call so what does shock you?” says David.

“ Matthew were you trying to comfort Lacey and sort of relate to her and you’re not being completely honest because you just think what the heck I want my cousin to Phyl understood I’m just gonna pretend like I live through something similar because I want her to feel like someone gives a shit other than just God and possibly lemon his family and her dad who’s probably very busy, so was it that cause I get the sense that he still busy even though he’s dead and she knows that, but sometimes she forgets that he actually might care, but was that actually something you lived through in the military or were you just being relatable and kind?” says a psychic.

“ and by the way, there are psychics I get the sense you guys wouldn’t do this, but I wonder if some of you actually would but if you could trust us yeah if you could trust us but there are some psychics that would totally go to work for you guys and your family and I don’t know if you pay us more than like 50,000 a year crap that would be astounding but no it would be actually psychics can make a lot of money but working privately on some thing that’s like really cool and probably living in someone’s house or something and then getting paid 50,000 and then finding your business being appropriate and then you know that would be that yeah you’re right I mean there be probably some taxed yet course exactly but no but post tax 50,000 damn sorry for swearing no that’s not a bad gig shoot for some psychics that would be a dream job. I really would be so single people would just be like if I had that gift and I was like 25 and I was a really good person and I could figure out how to be friends with these people and just get along with them and sort of be under their protection hopefully not for the rest of my life but we would there’s some of us who would volunteer to just work for your people just for protection just to figure out what the Hells going on who the fuck these people are, who are after you what entities they’re using where the entities are like our expert opinion, or understanding of all of it, and there are some people who would do that and I don’t know what to say, but I just wanted you to know that.

Oh yeah you guys were test me to see who I would approach with you. If that’s funny this might be a smart way to do it huh see you so if I’m actually a psychic contacting you if I’m not a bad psychic, but then where am I who am I Anyway, so not saying you should do that I don’t think so. If you would feel comfortable for spiritual reasons, I’m personally for my own safety, but I bet there are some people in your family that would, if they were concerned enough to do that um, so I wouldn’t even be surprised if we do this down the road hopefully Lacey doesn’t die but to tell you the truth, Lacey, if you and your family die I don’t know what your cousins and your family are going to start thinking and I don’t know what’s going to happen, but anyway, just as a warning, it is possible that people in your neighborhood might find this blog and think it’s wise to try to figure out what’s going on and I’m sure you want me to say that we should all be doing it in Christ if that’s even possible and ultimately worship him, so, but Matthew were you being kind or was that just some thing that you thought you should say because it’s it’s really what happened to you?” she says.

“ he’s too angry to respond right now. I am the lagging connection that David was talking about who worked at the Anderson house. I you can say that it happened basically OK it happened OK guarantee that for you but it happened to my note about an Xbox but there was stuff like that there were there guys some of them are like from possibly New Jersey from Italian families that were middle-class very patriotic, and I think Matthew thought from being from New Jersey having a house being so confident and sort of streetsmart and worldly that they were maybe had a similar class to him and they were not and so that there could be someone like that who is a real sticky wicket for him emotionally because that person is dead and he has no idea how to talk to them to be honest across to be some issues with Lacey because she’s made friends with people from that area. She lived out there Lemus from Pittsburgh her husbands from Connecticut. Her father has connections and so she gets along with his person in a different way than Matthew did and the first to me that even hurt Matthew because because it’s like that’s my cousin you seem like you think she belongs more to you than she does to me and I would it’s very complicated but I am so yeah but ultimately she is his cousin, but that it’s stuff like that that she’s gets to be very wearing was very wearing on him and he is coerced he still coping with it now.” says a bootlegger.

“ who named her Lacey?” says psychic.

“ she thinks it was probably Tom I think he thought it was a pretty name and he’s a father to her and he understands her.” says the bootlegger.

“ are we dragging you guys down a little bit?” she says.

“ yeah you are that’s very kind of you to ask that pray to God protect yourself in Christ I’m saying that not because I hate you because I care and I don’t want you to be scared but then that’s you need to do you need to trust Christ for your protection and this is one of the reasons why we might not hire you because it’s pretty bad. The situation is pretty bad and I wouldn’t want my daughter or my niece or my cousin to be in that kind of situation, unless if it was some thing that God called them to. I don’t know if I want someone doing this knock not because now because they couldn’t figure something out but because it might not be safe for you.” says Mark Nesheim.

“ you mean to tell me that if there’s reincarnation, if there’s a carnation, I know it’s kind of funny. It sounds like that if there’s reincarnation, Harold Loeb was a wandering Jew, who died on Nesheim soil!?” says Pat Kaald.

“ yes if those ring carnation he’s there he’s buried by the mailbox Pat if you’re headed towards the school house he’s on the left side of the road very close to the mailbox.” says Mark Nesheim.

“ oh, so he’s like an ancient ancient ancient person who came back and became an author what the heck and then Lacey shows up?” says Pat.

“ I know why do we not talk about Ms. Taylor because it’s too painful Lacey that’s the sort of family we are you were supposed to have done some thing really glamorous. No one was supposed to tell you that but you were supposed to have done something.” says Gwen.

“ but I didn’t think that was excepted. I thought that was frowned upon.” says Lacey.

“ yeah we raised you very poorly in that way to be honest with you I’m a little freaked out because if we if your illegitimate we knew but we didn’t know and it’s psychotic. It’s like we knew that you weren’t ours and we treated you like you were adopted little person that was on want it for her mother but then we didn’t even know I I I don’t think we knew we didn’t know so it’s completely retarded. I mean we look like fucking idiots and maybe we are but I’m glad you have a sense of humor because I’m the one head it’s like you’re beneath me you’re a street urchin bitch that was on want it but then it’s like how the Frick up RRR am I even saying that because I really didn’t know and I can’t claimed I’ve had some higher consciousness. It was telling me that I’m not that insightful of which is why it’s so funny because it’s otherwise it would just be very evil but no, it really was funny because no, we didn’t realize that you were in ours in someway if that’s what happened, what is the way to do that issue? We were cold as ice to you, but then it didn’t really make any rational sense, and we basically just pooped all over ourselves.” says a Nesheim.

Silence.

“ what were what were you supposed to do well I mean you were supposed to hear supposed to probably do something I don’t know glamorous just something glamorous. My daughter was slightly glamorous and she married a Harvard educated doctor and her daughter is going to Johns Hopkins and her son went to university of Pennsylvania, but that sounds glamorous the way that I sold it sort of glamorous him. Linn was almost Miss North Dakota did a little modeling was a newscaster married a very dark handsome man and they have this posh upper middle-class life with a cabin in a nice house and dogs and cats and stuff him and there’s some thing foxy and down down to earth about it but it’s also a little glamorous, Alys went around the world, and in a almost died of malaria and Africa as a missionary came back it is now a medical professional, and Katie traveled to South America to learn how to dance like sisterhood of traveling pants, old money, North Dakota style or something and knows she’s a dance instructor she does popping and she’s pretty so pretty dated an Asian man who was very complicated and Buddhist for a while. Um has dreads and perfect skin could be a model if she was taller let’s see who else is there well, there’s a lot of other people, but most of them are very connected to the to their families there they’re very much family people with big weddings and pictures all over Facebook and that’s what you were supposed to do.” she says.

“ I was not aware of that.” says Lacey.

“ I was!” says Becca, the mother who raised Lacey.

“ I was too.” says Jim the father who raised Lacey. “ but my family is a little different than yours and we have a country is state. Her cousin JB has an $8 million state. None of you have a place like that and they own it. No debt my great grand Alexis excuse me my great uncle was knighted by the king of Norway. There’s not someone like that in your family unless if excuse me, I could be mistaken unless if the silver smith was a genius with silver Mike, Mike, great uncle was really that brilliant with words. He was really profound and less of the silver Smith in your family is of that substance I kind of think we’re superior to you so fuck you!”

Ruth Craft laughs.

Later.

Adagio for Strings by Telemann plays.

A man who was a bootlegger for the Anderson House stands and regards the building. Looks up in the night sky. In 2024. As a ghost.

“A lot of evil happened here.” he says to Lacey.

“I don’t want to be the music.” says Lacey. “I didn’t volunteer my soul for that.”

Satan picks up her meaning.

“Dear friend…she’s not in jest.” says the dead bootlegger to Satan.

The song plays.

“YELL AT ME!! Yell at me…you nigger.” says Matthew to a stuffy old white Frenchman.

“Alright. I’m game!” says the man.

“Are you serious?” asks Lacey.

“YES!” he says.

The song ends.
