Angeles

Angeles by Elliott Smith plays.

“Lacey was never trying to make anyone jealous.” says Louis. “Not really.”

“I believe her.” says Dylan Mulvaney. “Actually, I believe Louis. But…he’s speaking for her.”

“I have $600,000.00 net!” yells a hateful, shrewish woman. “NET!!”

“She has trillions.” say Lem.

“Yeah. It’s her…title. I get it. It’s a huge power thing. But…she was unloved. And…I wasn’t. And I’m a dumb, childless, heartless, hateful, woke bitch. BUT I have more net. So…I have power over her.” says the woman.

“What can you do with you money?” asks Lem. “A decent hitman to kill her and her family would cost at least $6 million. Each. $24 million. And then you’d have to cover it up.”

“How much would it cost to cover it up?” asks the CIA.

“$30 million.” says Lem. “Your best chance to see her dead is if God does it.”

“I can buy a bigger house!” yells a rich man.

“But does that matter?” asks the CIA.

“No.” says China. “What don’t you understand.”

“Why she isn’t intimidated.” says Kate Shaw Hayes.

“Because she can’t intellectually abuse the objective truth. That’s all I can sense. Truly. It’s almost like she wants to apologize.” says a woman in the Illuminati.

“Okay. So…our delusion…is…what?!? How does she see us?” asks a Hollywood producer.

“She sees it as an impossible situation because you’re sending her to Lem.” says Queen Elizabeth II.

“What?!?” asks the CIA.

“It’s a literal time warp?” says Lem, laughing because it’s extremely sexual.

“It’s extremely sexual?!” asks the CIA.

“Yeah!” says Lem blushing.

“Where would Jack have ended-up if we’d done the same thing?!” asks a gay man.

“In France.” says someone.

“With whom?” asks a woman.

“Getting high. With…a French man.” says the CIA. “Possibly just a friend, in Heaven.”

Lacey feels a sudden cool breeze.

“It’s complicated. But she’s likely not wrong. So be wise.” says Lem.
