Crickets chirp. A fan. It’s September in Minnesota. Lacey has had a cold. And tonight we all watched the last 2024 US Presidential debate from my Pennsylvania. It was eerie.
…After watching the debate Lacey watched as Taylor Swift was discussed and dozens of political commentators lauded Kamala like their lives literally depended on it. …I was shocked and so was Lacey…by the amount of dishonesty in their analysis. Their dogged determination to make it seem as though Kamala had done definitively won. For certain. Beyond a shadow of a doubt. …But no, that’s simply not true.
No, Donald Trump didn’t lose. He took the bait. Yes. But…why? What is the bait? He actually was fairly respectful.
No. It was not a win for Kamala Harris. I’m sorry…everyone in the media? …And yet even though everyone is saying that I wonder if only people saying that sincerely were already voting for her? Or is almost everyone in the US media that out of touch? Or are Lacey and I missing something? Because that’s not what it felt like to us.
Who won? …Honestly? To us it was Trump. …Because inflation, the botched exit from Afghanistan and the war in Russia all belong as Vice President to Kamala Harris. …And yes, she’s not Joe Biden, but she’s VICE PRESIDENT. …There is NO BLOODY WAY AROUND THAT. …You can’t fool people quite that much! Get a grip. …I cannot believe that people will forget that. And he certainly brought that up. And if they’re also mad…his anger…might feel…positive.
The problem is…the bait isn’t what you, if you’re Liberal, most likely think it is. What it is is fuel. It’s tinder. And…if you say things like ‘“January 6th” was an attack on America!’ and take yourself seriously let me put it this way: If “January 6th” is actually the most important anti-American event since the Civil War (which is extremely debatable) then I shall remind you that “January 6th” is less than five years ago. …Do Liberals celebrating tonight think those tensions are gone!?! I’m confused. …Because people are still really pissed-off. …And what they needed was to see him mad. Mad, defensive and being attacked by the Liberal US media. His base eats that. They have to have that to feel motivated. And actually this debate gave it to them in spades.
…Joe Biden had historically low approval ratings. Just months ago. …People aren’t that stupid.
And Kamala was nervous. Especially at first. And…the US media is notorious for totally ignoring the facts of the situation when to comes to Trump’s electorate. …In my opinion, he’s not likely to lose after tonight. That’s the bottom line. …He might lose. But it’s…not at all a certainty. And frankly…I this debate was possibly even helpful to him.
I’ll tell you another thing: Tomorrow is SEPTEMBER 11th! Remember? And…that’s a bad day. Right? …I think as people subconsciously group this debate with tomorrow after tonight…they may develop an even more favorable reaction for Donald Trump.
Anyway. …All I’m saying is that….if North Korea wrote the note on toilet paper…Donald Trump better be careful. Right? Because love letters between men are a big deal to people and I worry David Pitts might get lots and lots of ideas. …Start making many…assumptions. And Kim Jong Un better watch out too I guess or someone will say he’s not actually mad at South Korea, so to speak, but rather using that premise as a rouse to justify his intense, furtive discussions with Trump. …No…I just had to laugh.
…But mark my words: They’re losing far more than they think. The Liberals. Or it’s intentional and a conspiracy.
